The algorithm hates me! But thanks man, we loved Alaska but had to come back down for a few months. Should be back before this upcoming summer. Once you spend any time up there it’s painful to be any where else.
My name is also RJ... I took a random trip to anchor to River this year also. I caught my first two Alaskan steelhead.... Amazing experience Also met that dog at the fly box lol.... The little Thai restaurant down there is out of this world.

Thanks man, means a lot! My fiancé and I travel full time but I’m from the Lakeland, FL area. We’ll be back in Florida for a few months and then we plan on going back to the peninsula for the entirety of next summer. Man, having a place in Florida and owning land up here. That’s the dream.
Just what we need, more people on youtube telling people to go to the anchor. Social media and youtube is ruining the fishing here in alaska. There was a time when fishermen knew the simple concept of secret fishing holes, now people make their livings giving it all away. I know ur not from here so you dont care about this place like us alaskans do but maybe try not to give so much away, names, locations. Just be more vague we would appreciate it.
@@mudjerry I said we went to the anchor river. I gave no locations on the river. The only people who knew where we were on the river have already been there AND the river is 30 miles long. Imagine waking up on a Sunday morning and thinking “you know what I want to do, go nag about things on the internet like a sad, bored, lonely house wife.” What a life you must have!
