They don’t want to reveal their identities as they believe it will take attention away from their music. Also, they perform live and sound exactly like the records if not better! People, including myself know the identities!

I’m an old dude whose gods were Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Genesis, Yes, Deep Purple& the list goes on. Never would I have believed that a band from today would blow my mind. This band are phenomenal, adore them even though we don’t know who they are, we see their personalities on stage. Talent, conviction, feeling. WORSHIP ❤

I think most fans are fine if your dont like sleep token. We get annoyed when people say their bad or trash musicians. Cuz we know thats just not true but we also know it isnt for everyone. And its ok to not like a band and still recognize the talent, like you did.

The giy who wrote Milli Vanillis music worked for me at a rental car company. He is an amazing musician and i saw him create a beat on a box while cleaning a car

The album is a journey, as well as being the end of a trilogy of albums. Vessel puts a lot of vulnerability in his lyrics, and the rest of the band plays the hell out of their instruments.

This band doesn't have a norm, all their songs are different. If you want something harder, try listening to Vore or The Summoning

Yassss! Sleep Token are the best band I have ever come across and the recent album is definitely my AOTY! You should go down the rabbit hole now. They’re genre bending and use elements of everything from rock, metal, RnB, trap, hip hop, gospel, and more. Even if you don’t like one song don’t write them off as every song is different and as you can see from this one they switch up completely through the songs, also don’t be thrown off by some of them being 7-8 minutes long either as it goes by far too quickly. You should start at the beginning and work your way through as they tell a story and have call backs to a lot of them. The band are anonymous, I and others know who they are but won’t reveal out of respect to the band and fans but the singer goes by the moniker Vessel, drummer, who is a beast is II, bassist III and guitarist IV. As far as their discography goes they brought out two EPs called One and Two, then 2 singles called Jaws and The Way That You Were, then the three albums Sundowning, The Place Will Become Your Tomb, then TMBTE (Take Me Back To Eden). They’ve done five covers that I’m aware of. One being Hey Ya by OutKast, I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston, Is It Really You? By Loathe and When The Party’s Over by Billie Eilish, Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. His Vocal range I believe is B ♭2 to F#5 and he has a wonderful chest voice, head voice and scream. I have never hyper fixated on a band like I have with these! Loved the react and Will subscribe and hopefully see many more. 🖤

It’s easy to find out who they really are and heir creative credentials are very clear fro, early projects etc. stage identities are fake normally anyway, people out on personas explicitly (David Bowie) or implicitly (Rammstein perhaps).

They want the focus on the music not who they are. Bringing milli vinilli into the dance sentence with sleep token just don't make sense. Vessel seems to have social anxiety and has been through alot in his life and if you know who he is you can tell that from when he was younger he didn't even show his face hardly. And for all we know he might have had something happen to him like maybe he's got a major scar idk. But his privacy needs to be respected. Cuz he is ultra talented and unlike any other artists out there. He writes the lyrics, composes and writes the music all the instruments except the drums.

No, this is nothing like Milli Vanilli. People felt "cheated" because they tried to pass off the singers as the actual singers, who were then lip- syncing for so called "live" performances. Which does sort of feel like a con. When Sleep Token play live, it is still the same people that feature on the records and they actually perform live, there's no lip-syncing or miming involved. Their identities are kept secret for basically two reasons: One, so as not to detract from the music. Sleep Token aren't interested in the personal fame or adulation that comes with success. The fact that the lead singer titles himself as Vessel is because he sees himself as just a conduit for the music and the music is everything. Two, Sleep Token's lyrics deal with some very dark and personal subjects for Vessel. His lyrics lay bare all those dark secrets and emotions that we all have but keep hidden. He personally feels that he would not be able to delve so publicly deep without the mask. Plenty of fans now know all the identies of the members of the band but still respect the band's wishes for annonymity by not discussing it online. I do have a theory that with the end of this trilogy of albums (the band did announce that this was a trilogy) they may be finished with their anonymity. Vessel does confirm his identity hidden within the lyrics to two songs on the album, if you know what to look for. Or he may just be giving a nod to those who already know. Stay safe 🤘✌️

Lel he said "offer" And to go back to the conversation about your question (ps i loved milli vanilli but i was also like 6 years old), but if you look at the one and only interview that Sleep Token has ever done, they explain that they started their music as an offering to a diety that came to them in a dream. So they are much more "theatrical" and intentional in their decisions of what and why they do what they do (vs marketing reasons bc of their physical appearance). They've built an entire backstory with a world full of its own lore which i think speaks to why they have developed such a big following in such a short amount of time Stop talking so much, no offense but just listen to the music, out of all the first time reaction videos I've watched for this song, I think you paused the most😂

I really dig this project. The other day my wife was cooking dinner and put on Taylor swift. I suddenly realized that sleep token is using nearly the same formula as Taylor swift. The difference being. Male vocals, Some low tuned guitars and minor melancholy dark twists. And killer drumming. But otherwise it’s eerily similar. All of that said I really love this band.

It's not the same at all there's been countless of bands that have done it. I mean literally kiss did the same exact thing because they didn't want people to know their identity Even Slipknot did that right in the beginning

It's actually refreshing to hear a reactor saying that a song didnt quite rock their boat. I think too many creators are afraid of being honest. The first time i listened to this song i didnt care for it either, though it has grown on me.

Probably my favorite album of all time. They have no genre. They’re just sleep token lol.

Please stop even putting them in the same sentence with any other band cuz they aren't like any other bands you know. Millie vanillie got nothing to do with sleep token so that is just absolutely absurd that you even compare them.

Mmm too much interruption &I have to say, of all the MANY sleep token reactions I’ve watched, yours is the only one that was completely flat .
