I grew up in a relatively evangelical home, and my father has always expressed a love and respect for Hebrew history and culture. My mother was adopted and never knew her biological father, but after getting a DNA test several years ago, I noticed that we had distant cousins who are Ashkenazi. Some of my family and friends haven’t been as understanding as to why I’ve been trying to convert, but the more I work on my relationship with God and do research, the more things are starting to make sense and feel right. I appreciate your conversations. I have no doubt that the Jews in Israel today have the correct lineage to reside there. My concern is that they have not all turned to Yahuah in their effort to reclaim the land. Again, He said that He would bring the dispersed tribes home. Not the Free Masons. We must be careful not to mix the power and command of the Ruah Hakodesh with the ways of the world. We continue to be followers of men and idols. The current endeavors in Israel leadership are for the purpose of revealing the lawless one. When Yashuah returns, He will bring with him the new Jerusalem (Eden). He will bring the remnant of the tribes home, including those who have gone to sleep. And, he will provide for the healing of the nations, all of those who overcome.

I am a poor Swedish pensioneer. I am soon 73 years old. I wish I had the money to pay for a DNA-test. I do not know where my father come from. He were close to me but did not know his family. He tried to find out but did not get any answers. I do not know why he, when I were 5 years old in the beginning of the 50ies had to show me all the terrible and horrifying pictures of what the Jews had to experience in Germany during the war. A merchant group (some were Jews) that became a part of Khazaria where we know historically there was a conversion. Saying there is no connection is inaccurate. #2, DNA. I’ll be quick on this point. The reality is there is no baseline ancient Israelite DNA to compare anyone’s DNA to. The cohanim gene is based on the presumption that a certain group descends from ancient Israelites but without ancient Israelite DNA, it is not verifiable. Lastly, when you are talking culturally, Semitic languages are an Afro-Asiactic group. When you look at the customs of the Israelites, such as circumcision for example, the most circumcised people in the world are in Africa.
