SEA OF THIEVES
Sea of Thieves is a pirate-themed action-adventure cooperative multiplayer game played from a first-person perspective. The game features cross-platform play between Windows-based personal computers and Xbox One video game consoles. A group of players travel and explore an open world via a pirate ship and assume different roles such as steering, hoisting sails, navigation, and firing cannons. Players embark on quests, collect loot and engage in combat with other players. Sea of Thieves is a shared game world, which means groups of players will encounter each other regularly throughout their adventures. The game has a cartoonish art style and an exaggerated physics engine that allow players to perform stunts, like being shot out of ship cannons.

That used to be the kraken that would spawn In the beta how ever it’s about skull forts and fleets now and meg is random ( I think)

I did a skull fort yesterday and i got chased by a meg, skele galleon, and a player sloop who we hit with like, 15 firebombs lol, it seems like it at times

It always feels like that but it is completely random, the only reason that Kraken attacked you after you got the fort finished is cause it can now spawn due to no fort.

Skeleton ships have a slightly higher spawn chance when there is chests on the ship, you can find out more on the wiki!

I've only encountered one - Shark Bait Cove. I was trying to do riddles and was there for three days (in game), it spawned on the shore - feel like Rare were watching and felt sorry for my poor riddle deductions! 😄

Wouldn't a smaller island make it easier to find the skeleton if all islands have the same ancient skeleton spawn rate?

If it spawns, it will spawn around you not anywhere on the island from what I know, so if you want to spot them easily then just a flat sandy island would be ideal.

Getting a lot of coin skellys at Thieves Haven lately, iv had 2 of them in 24 hours and so did a friend we also had a big alliance going with other crews on Thieves Haven at the moment they spawned. They also spawn on the very top of Thieves Haven as well as sea level. If you hear one spawn, look at where the noise is coming from and move towards it (if your view is blocked by plants or trees), find it and smash its face in before it gets out the ground, do not stand there saying why is that blue and gold skeleton running away from me.

I once heard an ancient skeleton spawn, but it was night in the game, and bright sunny daytime in the conservatory where my xbox was, so I couldn't see it. I recorded it though and later saw that it was just on my left.

I can confirm that ancient skelles can spawn in a sloop with one person, happened to me twice in the last month a few days apart, though very unlucky I got 320 total from the two

@JustTheReed, if you want to join insider I think it’s still open to everyone. I haven checked in a while but I believe you just have to check in rare’s website. Then download the insider app to your Xbox or PC.

Your Discord link is invalid, so here is the myth suggestion: Investigate respawn mechanics in large crews. The idea for this topic came when my crew got raided and everybody started dying a few seconds after each other. I asked myself: if everybody waited in the Ferry of the Damned for the others to arrive and for their doors to open, so that the whole crew spawns at the same time, if we would be better off than if each person spawned individually. In theory, the answer is yes: if everybody spawned together in the same deck, we could overwhelm the enemy by surprise, rather than one person getting ganked on at a time. But then I realized that everybody will probably spawn in different parts of the ship! It would be great if you could investigate how often you'll spawn in the deck or in the holds, and whether this is affected by the presence of crewmates or even enemies on the deck. This will probably involve dying over and over in different situations so you can gather statistical data.

So i have a question... Lets say you and your buddie sail the seas and you get boarded by someone. (tuckers) He will be listed in your "My crew" where you can brig anyone. If you and your crewmember vote to brig him... Does that work? I was once boarded by some other pirate when i was solo. I could see his name in the settings and i even could vote but i guess it takes 2 votes?!

With experience, the blunder does take skill. Just not as much as the sniper and flintlock. I say this because I'm pretty bad at one shots in a fight with blunder and it takes practice to use the blunder in the most effective manner.
