I'm in Kingston Ontario Canada which is located at the very western point of lake Ontario. We are also at the very beginning of the St. Lawrence River which is where everyone of the great lakes waters are funneled into the Atlantic Ocean. You can literally access the Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean, right down to the Mississippi River and ultimately travel to the gulf of Mexico. You can literally travel by water to anywhere in the world from here. There are a few points where one needs to portage especially to the west but, it is possible. Kingston was originally the capital of Canada until the supposed war of 1812. There is also a magnetic triangle located here on lake Ontario, akin to the Bermuda triangle. There are hundreds upon hundreds of ship and plane crashes here. I was a child swimming every summer day in Collins Bay, which is located in Kingston and my friends and I would challenge each other to jump off a dock and submerge 12 to the bottom of the bay and to sink into 18 inches of mud at the bottom. One day we were doing this and all of a sudden a group of boats showed up with a huge raft with a crane upon it. 3 hours later they pulled up a WW2 airplane with a skeleton still in the cockpit. Needless to say we were not 15 meters away with our legs 2 feet deep in the silt from this airplane. Lamoines Point across the bay was an air force training station. Anyway Kingston is filled with history going back long before we have been told. Peace from Canada

'Supposed war of 1812'? No, it definitely happened. The only place to see early 19th century presidential silverware is in British museums. The info slip on one display I've seen stated 'from the presidential mansion (I think that's what it was called, it wasn't the White House yet) 1814'

I learnt about this tale, it was a story of Brennin Madog (or Madoc, or Madoch, depending on what version of welsh you use) fleeing his homeland, it was assumed he fled to around Spain, or Portugal, but during the 19th century it was claimed he visited America, landing on the shores before the vikings, they apparently somehow intergrated with the locals, Either way, they named a town after the port he fled from (Port Madoc, northwest Gwalia) also, the Cumberland river has an interesting name, as Cumberland was an old part of Wales, being named a version of Welsh English (Wenglish) Cumbria-land (Cumberland)

So they can hide Wales and its distinct culture behind the cloak of UK while teaching the world the UK and England are the same thing. They then rework Welsh history into an English format and pass it all off to the world as Germanic English history. This is why Aus, India and Canada were allowed to become independent yet Wales isn't. Wales is far more valuable.

And her little clan were in NZ for many, many years before the Maori ever reached there - yet the Maori get the history as 'the ancient New Zealanders' and the others who claim Persian descent are ignored. Those same people have a lot of blonde hair & blue eyes ! So many of these oddball stories that don't fit into what Historians & Archaeologists claim are 'the facts'. I am suspicious even of carbon dating giving official times of who-did-what-when, because that could prove to be wrong. Time will likely sort all of these problems out, but the problem is 'experts' get very prickly if anybody suggests they might be wrong & then instead of wondering if the alternate idea could be true, they just poo-poo it & say they are the experts.

Welsh Scott’s and Irish were pushed into Appalachia by English settlers because they were undesirables. Anything found that’s of welsh origin Celtic origin in America came after the European settlers and is being misconstrued as older. They made first contact with a lot of tribes and would have imparted their words and customs before the English arrived but it doesn’t mean they settled here before the founding of the new world that’s complete conjecture

Ah yes- that is a great story that I will pop up on my new channel about Welsh history stories (link below). As I remember it, it is all to do with taxation. London put a duty on Welsh spirits which made them more expensive and forced them abroad. Mostly to Kentucky and Tennessee where there were already Welsh communities. Prince Madoc left with twelve ships in 1200s is the legend, here in Wales, though not a commonly known one generally, from our side noone knows what happened to them, but I've heard that Benjamin Franklin mentioned, that there was welsh "indians" Not a historian though, and even if I was, this is considered very controversial, I imagine some of the disbelief is genuine, these days, and some would be a purposeful denial. One of the reasons there was so many Welsh pirates, was because they wouldn't be allowed to go to officer status in the royal navy, (look up Henry morgan,) that was reserved for upper classes, but were not limited by birth on a pirate vessel, so likely to be bigotry and snobbery, if the history is suppressed. Of course as a welshman, I hope there's truth to this story.

Not knowing how to swim, he drifted off on it, eventually washing ashore in the U.S. some 30-45 days later. This was supposed to have happened mid 20th century.

It is interesting to hear the description of the shoving aside of the acceptance of the settlement of the Welsh before 1492. Graham Hancock sort of describes this as (I paraphrase) the victory of ideology and The Correct View, which means if you do not take The Correct View, that you represent Evil. We involved in the populist political movement here in the US know all too well how this works; it is the same in other fields as well. Break the rules and the establishment's wrath descends.
