My idea for a better Water Temple would make it the only dungeon that’s accessible through a cave, and the Ancient Zora Waterworks opens up a tunnel that goes deep underground to where The Water Temple resides. Maybe the nickname of The Water Temple is along the lines of “the Ancient Zora’s Domain”, which would be a reference to Ocarina of Time’s Zora’s Domain.
I think it’s still a very thoughtfully designed and beautiful space that was a joy to explore. Lanayru is full of caves like that: functional and interesting/intriguing. The entire game gives such a tangible sense of unearthing generations worth of history within the kingdom.
@@frewtlewps1152 very very good idea and in line with what I was imagining. I was so stoked with how each temple had a unique way to approach and was located ultimately in a mostly unique part of the map. For me, fire and spirit felt very distinct despite both being in the underworld. The lava zone of the depths really worked. Doing the lightning temple last and finding it on the surface was a great surprise when I expected sky or depths. However being switcherooed up to the sky for the water temple after being led to think cave based was a small disappointment. And now there's no cavern based temple.
@@shabado0 most definitely! Probably the only significant moment of my playthrough that I consciously felt they missed an opportunity, but I recovered quickly because what they did do was still more than good!
The timestamps make it seem like the video really reflects your typical casual experience. Five minutes opening the water temple, then an hour looking for zora greaves and the bubbul frog
oH that's the melody that i keep hearing! i knew we heard a melody like that before in a previous zelda game but i couldnt remember which one! Thank you so much xDD
This is amazing! An idea would be to do flight range ambiance (which is my favorite location in both BoTW and ToTK) Amazing video, earned yourself a sub! I also use this while im writing, which helps a ton.
I just spent 36 minutes writing a prompt about an underwater version of Zoras domain and this greatly inspired me, the ambiance really helped, thank you!
Honestly, they should have kept this as a dungeon and put the final boss simply into the sky, which you can only access when all terminals are activated.
