This video highlights the simple installation of Ancon MBT reinforcing bar couplers.
The Ancon MBT range of reinforcing bar couplers is used when it is not convenient to prepare the bar ends to suit threaded couplers. The bars are supported on two serrated saddles within the coupler and are locked in place by a series of lockshear bolts.
The MBT range of couplers is ideal for applications involving the replacement of corroded or damaged reinforcement as bar ends require no preparation or rotation.
