Haha, when you started mentioning Method Man and Wu-Tang I was like "oh sh*t he's gonna lose it!" I NEVER saw Method dancing like that! CL is a certified badass!

I always get a kick out of the secondary shock of seeing Method Man dance.

CL is a true hip hop head. During the summer of 2020 she was one of a handful of kpop artists who stood up, spoke and back the BLM movement giving credit to black artist for the entire genre.

And CL is the asian Queen. And she is from the legendary grup 2ne1

Honestly, you can't even call this K-pop since she spoke English the entire time. This was supposed to kick off CL's American debut with a whole album full of English songs, but it never happened. Her old company from Korea held her back with some contract and screwed her over. She was even signed with Scooter Braughn who manages Justin Bieber, and she performed this song on the James Cordon show I think. She had a very big chance of expanding her career in a big way, which I will never stop being mad about it not happening. She even had a collaboration with the Black-Eyed Peas in 2018 called Dopeness that you should check out. But anyway, great reaction! I love how people always freak out over Method Man and just how much CL gets about the culture. That makes me love her even more. You should also check out her dance performance video for her single Hello Bitches. That's more of a mix of K-Pop with a scattering of English here and there, but with some fire choreography.

CL has since pursued a solo career and, much to the chagrin of some of her longtime fans, is now catering to a Western audience. This was made loud and clear with “Lifted,” which makes direct references to the Wu-Tang Clan’s 1993 hit, “Method Man,” with lyrics like, “I got myself a 40 / I got myself a shorty.”🍒❤
