Apologies if this has already been pointed out, but didn't you all find it odd that when Miranda is discussing Brady and her concerns about him, she's talking to and getting advice from Carrie? Shouldn't she be talking to Steve and letting him know what's going on? They didn't break up acrimoniously, he was always a loving dad, so why is he left out of the picture? Justice for Steve!

Che is essentially a “f*ck boy” with a different gender. If this character were a guy this wouldn’t have gone past an episode. It’s also incredibly sad to see a strong professional woman give up everything for a relationship where their partner has zero respect for her. But we’re supposed to buy it as a liberating because Che is non binary? No a shifty relationship is still shitty regardless. I don’t care if my kid is 8 or 80 I will be at their side first before any romantic partner. The way this show treats motherhood as a hobby rather than an actual responsibility is what really gets me. In the original series Charlotte was practically moving mountains to get pregnant so she could be a mom and now her great validation is the “milf” list. It’s truly disgusting

What I think is unrealistic, are the forced friendships between people that we’ve never normally continue a friendship. Like Miranda’s professor? Why is she still even in the show in real life Miranda and that woman would not be friends or continue a friendship. That woman would have her own pod or group of friends. And Seema? Did she not have friends before Carrie?

It’s not even a conspiracy anymore. The UN released a statement about removing the unfair stigma of pdfiles and changing the term to MAP -Minor Attracted Persons. At a Pride Parade in NYC (I think it was NYC, not 100% sure) a group of these people were saying, “we’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children.” Police officers are standing around witnessing grown men walk around naked in front of young children. Not one single person was arrested. Same thing happened in Toronto. A citizen called the Toronto Constabulary and the officer said that indecent exposure is allowed during a Pride event. Basically as long as you drape yourself in a Pride flag you can get away with anything. I’m so grateful that my children are no longer in school, but if they were they’d be educated at home, not indoctrinated in schools. Sorry for the rant.

You know what's weird about the word vagina? It's like some Latin derivative or exact translation of the word sheath. I can't remember which. Guys, the bottom line is this: they don’t care that we hate it and we are grossed out by everything we see. ALL they care about is subscriptions and views of the show. That is it! As long as we all keep watching, even though we are all APALLED, they consider it a huge success and will probably create more of this TOXIC CRAP

I just can't get past Charlottes face to focus on anything else - but the story lines with Miranda are cringe worthy enough. I think "Charlotte" has had filler in her jaw and chin, or a chin implant put in that throws off the whole look of her face. I mean yeah the cheeks are puffy from filler, but the chin and jaw tweek has really made her not so attractive anymore.

They’re just rehashing old storylines. Samantha got her Birken bag as a symbol of her success. Carrie’s designer purse & shoes were stolen in SATC in a mugging. Seema’s prized Birken bag stolen in a mugging. Then the lamest, slowest robbery of Lisette’s jewelry. Thief didn’t disguise his face in a city & event that would have plenty of cameras. And we’re supposed to believe that Lisette has to start over & that the police won’t be able to find the thief after so many people saw his face.

HBO execs stepped in and demanded Kim Cattrall's cameo and unless they do the same for other aspects of the show there is no way this should be greenlit for another season. I’m convinced we are in an alternate universe, and will be transported back eventually. There’s no other logical explanation. When Miranda was talking about hating her old life, work, etc… all I could think of was her line from the second movie “Sometimes, as much as I love Brady, being a mother just isn't enough. I miss my job.” She loved her job. She was proud of it. If we could take SATC Miranda, introduce her to Che, she’d have absolutely no interest. The new Miranda I do not recognize. I applaud her for actually being a mom this episode. I agree with Everything you said Jenn. Thank you for being our support system through this.

I was giving the actual actress the benefit of doubt and summing it up to just being a role.....until I read about their personal life for the past 8 years. Sara Ramirez is Che Diaz.....was married to a man, got divorced, came out as non-binary, and life has revolved around that ever since. The only difference (no matter what they say in interviews) between the two is one is a comedian the other is an actress. As for MPK...I looked up his resume once again to see that I wasn't crazy. This man can write. He wrote the best episodes of SATC, The Comeback, and Murphy Brown. He is capable of doing great work.....so what's going wrong here? There is something going down in that writer's room that we all aren't seeing that is jacking up this show....that and MPK's unchecked ego are truly destroying this show. The HBO execs had to step in to get that Kim Cattrall cameo. I'm afraid of this show is going to be saved the same will have to be done for the writer's room, MPK, and a few other items. HBO execs will have to list several demands before they greenlight a third season. Non-negotiables: 1. Kim Cattrall back as a main character OR recast with Sharon Stone. (Hear me out LOL). No exceptions. 2. Che is gone...no reduced role...no development....GONE. This is one of the most hated characters in tv history....a feat I thought impossible in 2023 but here we are. No redemption. We are at the cut your losses while you can point. There are many others regarding diversity and storylines but those two are a must. I don't want this post to be several pages long. To be honest after this episode it might be too late to even get it back on track. This episode was the final straw for many and viewership of the second season from the first is already down by 59%.

You have to put things into perspective. One always has to wonder about assault accusations when the offender is famous. I know it sounds bad but there are people who will do anything to become famous even if it’s only for 15 minutes. Quite often it is found they never even met the offender or they had a photo taken with them when they caught the person out for the evening. Suddenly once they come forward, everyone wants to talk to them, which makes them feel important. Chris has always had a high profile in the public. He lives in NY and owned a nightclub there so it would be common place to see him out and about. He was an easy target and made even more easy by being on a hit show. If something had really happened, like with Weinstein, he would sitting in prison right now. The fact he isn’t is a good indication nothing like what was alleged ever transpired.

Because that is the AGENDA of the media overall. The media is under the umbrella and direction (undisclosed of course) of the federal government's backers and funders. It was created to entertain, distract, and influence the perceptions, beliefs and values of the population. EVERY show incrementally goes bit by bit in the same directions. This show just jumped straight into the deep end. The only way to stop this or at least get a show cancelled is through public outrage. Recall the mtv show that was all about teenage s#cuality(sp) and was too much too graphic and parents' groups protested and the show was cancelled. That's what we can do. It does sound absolutely disgusting. The same thing has been going on for years in the real world. You hear about a male teacher abusing female students and people are disgusted. You hear about a female teacher abusing male students and the response from a lot of people: "Is she hot? Lucky boy." Abusing boys is not taken as seriously because they are so driven by their hormones as teens and because they are more often seen as the dominant ones in physical relationships. In the first season, we have Brady having sex with his girlfriend all over the house apparently and they were in high school, correct? And what is with Miranda who was always been a strong, independent woman, a fierce lawyer fiercely about her friends, and she leaves everything and runs off to be with Che? Remember when she had such a hard time with Teri going to Paris with the Russian. None of this makes sense.

Thank you for speaking out. This episode goes too far into scary disturbing territory. Wtf. No way to make it make sense imo. You did the right thing addressing the issue and each character rather than a chronological recap. I'm so glad you feel the same way as me! I watched the first 3 episodes in disbelief! I can't believe the first conversation of the series was about poached eggs and salmon! I can't believe Miranda is still 'acting' like a limp lettuce. I can't believe Che is still in it! The writing is so awful and the actors all look bored, they're not even trying! Charlotte is being shoe-horned into the series, they can't even be bothered to give her a storyline! It all feels so lazy. They have added all these extra characters and now there is no room for anyone to develop and grow. I just don't care about anyone in it anymore. But I'm happy to see that you and all the people commenting on here feel the same. At least I'm not alone!

I agree. They have added four new characters to this show and there are only 10 episodes a season. There isn’t much time to develop a good story line for each new character, plus the originals girls.

They went off script to much from what the original was about! They brought in new people as regulars and it just doesn’t feel sex and the city anymore It’s a different show altogether. It is a disappointment 😢
