I gave in and watched the episodes. So many thoughts I can’t even begin but a few off the cuff: 1. That guy hitting on Nya was FINE! My entire body reacted to him. They better get together. 2. Che does not act like a real person. At all. 3. This Miranda continues to be unrecognizable from the SATC I loved. Though her “You’re a delight let’s talk more” line on the beach felt like a glimmer of her former character trying to come through. 5. Carrie literally said “I’m not an expert” before she answered that caller’s question AND proved it by giving the worst advice. But if she’s not an expert than why is she hosting this podcast? Why is she a former sex columnist who can’t say the word “vagina”? Well I guess we don’t have to answer it since the podcast is thankfully canceled.

I was so glad her podcast ended. I think it was weird that they wrote that in her storyline. I have so much hope for Nya's story this season, it has a lot of potential. CHE DOES NOT ACT LIKE A REAL PERSON! OMG this is so accurate. And it's crazy because we KNOW Sara Ramirez can act, but my goodness are they hard to watch in AJLT

Can't decide if the writing is so bad that they no longer know how to act, or what, but this show is cringey bad. I thought Miranda was a big time lawyer, so why she has turned into this no-nothing idiot is beyond me. These are women in their 50's now, so menopause it real and nobody is dealing with that topic. None of the characters are believable except Anthony- who is the only character that is funny. Love your reviews Elle💗

The writing department must’ve had a blast when they wrote that Lily asks for her parents for a piano, who tell her to get it herself. Then she sells stuff her parents got her and then she makes a song about how she’s in this 5th avenue cage. Like girl get a job and don’t use your parents money if you’re so against the lifestyle 😂

I’ve been re-watching sex and the city. I’m on season four and there are a couple episodes where Samantha is in a relationship with a woman. The number one hater of the relationship was Miranda so it’s so weird to watch And Just Like That and see her strap on out in the open lol

I feel like Miranda is playing Samantha's storyline. Samantha was the only single one that would of jumped on Che. Samantha could have been Ches publicist, and it would make more sense having Samantha involved with the entertainment scene. Miranda storyline just feels so forced and awful. The writers really scrambled to put something together.

I'm glad you said it about the granny and the scarf wrap. My mouth drops every line they've written for the actresses scenes together. At this point I think they could build a great show around the ensemble supporting cast. Be done with the SATC cast lol. Yeah... dreadful about sums it up.

The Weeknd made me forget how gross the Miranda/Che sex scene was in s1. We asked for less Che and I feel like the writers made them a main character for spite bc they hate us. Charlotte's Met Ball outfit was like 17 different looks and it was A.MESS. I did not understand ANY of it n I wish they would have bumped Anthony into Samantha's spot instead of having 4 new characters share the spot (even tho I do like the new additions excluding Che😂) Ughh am I lame to get a lil in my feelings when Carrie pulled out the Vivienne Westwood? Bc I know that terrible, horrible man can not ruin that dress forever. The dress she was supposed to wear looks exactly like my shower curtain, i stg 😂

I really want you to know that enjoyed this soooooo much. You had me cracking up while I was at work. I hadn't even finished this video before I decided to push the like and subscribe buttons. I am so glad RU-vid suggested this channel. I recently came across another channel with two gay guys recapping the Just Like That episodes. I didn't even want to finish their's because it didn't come across fun to me because the guys were just too snarky and sarcastic. Even for me and I'm a gay man myself. Commenting while watching: I too am so over shirts off on women, however I am for normal bodies having screen time. I am a 35yr woman, was a teen in 00's, who then had two 10lb babies.... 'Normal' women being shown on screen having sex, being told they are attractive, that they are valuable and worthy, and also being so beautifully 'normal'... Thats healing (while also yes stop humiliating Miranda)
