I have been a New Mexican resident for 33 years and am glad to be here. Ruidoso is only a two and a half hour drive from my front door .... life is good!

That was a good driving video. I went through Ruidoso and the surrounding area in 1997 and I’ve seen most of New Mexico through the years. I think you’ve picked a great area to live. Thanks for taking us along.
When I went to cloudcroft, I hiked a little, and I sure did get winded, most people don't know this but cloudcroft is one of the highest elevation than even places in the rocky mountains in the north.
You know Valero is a Texas company, the home office was in Three Rivers Texas if I remember correctly and they built the offices in San Antonio and moved then\m from Three Rivers, there is still a refinery there I believe, originally it was Diamond Shamrock
Rusty I like the way you handle your big rig its a fine way of cruising , we want you around for a while so cut off the industrial sludge called pop , Dr pepper ,Coke or Pepsi, the body count of senior citizens drinking that stuff is astronomical
$2.62 gasoline in Lubbock this morning, lowest in the state. Just like our housing cheap. I love your new place, and the view. Have you ever visited the cool old adobe house in Tularosa? It's a B&B and bookstore. Joe Ben Sanders owns it, he's a hoot😊
