First dive of 2024 Air temp 65 water temp 64. Vis not great due to recent low pressure passage and 12' seas. Got to start somewhere. Not a lot of targets open. Basically hogfish, lionfish and lobster.
You know they make big catch bags that hold your lobster and your fish. Just put the fish in the bag with the spear still in it, then close the bag and slide the spear out. It’s got stainless clamp that snaps shut. Super easy and half the time. Also that lobster snare you got is sooo misshaped. We make our own with a flexible wire, easy to shape to the size, angle and hole you’re reaching in. So much better than a unshapable cable snare. Also can snare three lobster to 1 with a wire vs cable.
