When I was baptized in the Holy Spirit I felt what Troy Black calls the “fire of God” going through me and still to this day, I feel the Holy Spirit moving in my belly and every time I pray I feel like my Spirit man inside comes alive. Its hard to explain. Definitely new experiences. Its hard at times because I feel very alone in that experience. Nobody else seems to share the experience exactly
Thank you for sharing that testimony, so powerful! John the Baptist said it about Jesus: "He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire" (Mt. 3:11), and we know that the fire of God was part of the baptism at Pentecost (Acts 2). I do have a friend with a similar experience--she describes it as "bubbles" in her stomach, and what feels/felt like a strong heat going through her. Lord, have Your way in us and through us!
Hi Cody, can you email me about this so I can ask you a few questions and share some thoughts on this? You can submit it through our website. www.herhopemin.org
Start looking up his names/attributes because they reveal how he wants to interact with you! Then ask him to do that very thing in your life and he will!
Waiting is tough. The two biggest desires of my heart are things I've been praying on and waiting on for over 20 years now, so I definitely get it. Remain steadfast and faithful--His timing is perfect, and all His decisions toward us are His goodness to us. Psalm 116 will be a blessing to you in this. 💗
For me, it felt like a river of water pouring out of my heart, bubbles come up, an unleashing of the Holy Spirit who already lives in us when we give our lives to Christ. It was an inside-flowing-out. It will not feel the same for everyone.
@@herhopemindoes GODS presence feel like fire above the head like warm heat fire but comfortable Or can it I'm searching as I felt this once and seeking holy ghost baptism Thank you
It can! But remember, he lives "in" us and is also "with" us! He loves to manifests his tangible presence among his people, showing He is with us. There are many ways he does so--His presence can feel like heat, fire, good tingles, electricity, goosebumps, strong light, a blanket of peace, a strong sense of his love, etc. Keep seeking and stay open to however he wants to move in your life and he will! @@ChurchinnameofJESUSCHRIST
@@herhopeminI'm also a Christian back slided so many times hated god but when I decided to give my life to the holy spirit I'm his I'm watching in my Christian faith more faith content and dropping off curse movies that hinders my faith amen together amen ✝️✝️✝️🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲🇭🇲🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hi there- Scripturally speaking, there is not a specific order after giving your life to Christ that the Spirit moves in these ways. However, getting baptized in water is a key step in walking closer to the Holy Spirit; not only is it a public declaration of our commitment to the Lord, it postures our heart in surrender and openness to how He wants to continue to move in our lives. I gave my heart to the Lord as a child, was baptized in water a few years later, and then experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit later on. Reminder though, we receive the Holy Spirit at salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14)!
@@herhopemin thank you appreciate it alot can I ask one more question please When you was baptised in the name of jesus christ for the remission of sins Did all your sins get washed away I mean taken away Remission means to remove which is different then forgiving sins hence remission forgiveness And I understand by the faith of the operation of GOD he cleans your sins away at baptism by his faith and blood Did you feel all bondage to sin disappear Thanks
Good question, it warrants a much longer conversation biblically speaking. I was 10 years old when I chose to be baptized in water, so to be honest I wasn't old enough to be aware of sins in my life or them being removed. I just knew I loved Jesus, and wanted to take the next step of further commitment to him through the public ceremony of water baptism. @@ChurchinnameofJESUSCHRIST
