I once got a stasis rifle with an ion battery, a thermoblade, a couple medkits along with the message somewhere along the lines of "kill them all" and a picture of a dead reaper leviathan. Fun times
@@Spygozz in my second play i tried to slay all aggressive mobs at least once. Leviathan included. It was on hard and i don't allow myself to leave planet untill i do the challenge. So i left my tools helped me with slaying them all in hope that someone do it too. Im actually so happy that someone get it!
Far ago i found a laser cutter and a repair tool, i thinked they were useless till i realised that they was using ion bat... so in that run i got high battery stasis rifle for the entire cyclops unlocking and the entire lost river exploration :D Leviathan was scared of me!!!
@@Spygozz 2 had heat knives and flashlights but one had 3 nickel which was nice because I could make the prawn Sufi depth module early, one was in Spanish and from what I could translate it said smthn like have a drink and had all coffee
I love the idea of time capsules, imagine finding one at the start of your first play through and seeing an ghost or an diff leviathan with the message ''Yeaaa good luck'' or something like that
Those either don't get approved, or they do, but the stuff inside them is deleted. You cannot put ion power sources inside capsules as far as I know sadly
@@BenjamintYT Do they still approve new time capsules? I was convinced that since the game came out so long ago that feature was lost and now they just repeat.
except for ion batteries, i HATE when i open a time capsule and its a knife, or a flashlight or any sort of early game tools. like i already have that. one time i got a cuddlefish egg which was awesome. i usually put in some of the 50 capacity waters and rubies/nickel
Cause they can also spawn into crag field and grassy plateau... biomes that none of us explore... there is nothing useful in there... just... (SPOILER ALERT) ...an alien santuary in a cave of the deep crag field... and it contain only some cube and some useless info...
I don’t remember everything in the capsule, but what I remember of a capsule I once found was: coffee, chips, small marblemelon, large water, and two other misc items. Under normal circumstances, not very great. However, I happened to be doing a challenge run where I didn’t go to the surface, ever (except for the Aurora, because that’s 100% mandatory). This time capsule was the only reason I was able to use marblemelons on that run, and I am very thankful for that. Also, hey, I found that capsule in the mountains, like these ones! It was a nice break from the reapers all around me.
Time Capsules are such an interesting thing. I swear that half the ones I've found have just had a Seaglide in them (usually with a regular battery instead of an Ion Battery), though I lucked out on my second playthrough and had two with Cuddlefish eggs. I'm pretty sure I found the vast majority of them in the Dunes as well (I clocked more than 100 hours in that playthrough because I was doing crazy base building, and I stumbled across twelve total capsules). Then I embarked on a "No Habitat Builder" challenge, picked up a Time Capsule, and found it stuffed with Ion Battery equipment, including a Habitat Builder I'd studiously avoided. When I redid the challenge due to my gameplay footage being corrupted, I made a point of ignoring the Time Capsule I stumbled across.
@@Spygozz Losing the footage sucked. The second run through was much faster (despite multiple slip ups towards the end, one of which resulted in probably a half hour detour of time), but the first one ended in pretty epic fashion, with me reaching the final alien facility, only to have a Warper pop into the air of the facility entrance and try to attack me, WHILE the Sea Dragon was spitting fireballs at me in the same space. Oh, and I had to abandon my Cyclops at the eastern Lava Zone entrance while the whole thing was tilting from a Ghost attack. The second playthrough with the functional footage wasn't NEARLY as exciting or epic, especially since I did die once on the second but never died on the first (the final Sea Dragon chomped me from out of nowhere).
@@maileesaeya3614 no cuz when u get something nice on a video its starts to simply be corupted like i have this shity vid of me killing 4 reapers well i had to kill 4 again just cuz of footage being corrupted and yea thouse sea dragons suck cuz they always clip into walls and insta shot you
for mine i didnt want to put hatching enzymes or the blue tablet because it would be really easy for them to finish the game asap and that takes the fun out of subnatica so i did the next best thing cyclops mk3 depth mod, prawn suit mk2 depth mod, seamoth mk3 depth mod, cyclops fire suppression mod, a grappling arm and a drill arm so who ever finds it is going to have alot of fun
Yeah. For 3 years ive played, i never found any time capsules, but now, in my new game, I FOUND 2 CAPSULES A SAY FOR 4 DAYS LIKE WHAT (free ion batteries and stasis yay)
I remember 2 of my most interesting time capsules i made, the first was one with a photo i took of the middle of void surrounded by ghost leviatans with a stasis rifle, it had some of the things i found in the void, and a guide on how to make a void base, and another one i made with a photo of the bottom of the void illuminated by lamps i took, it had my stasis rifle, a habitat builder , and an ion battery, thats where i discovered that there is a second void below the first one, but no matter how much i built in the second void, i never got to the bottom of it, so i guess the second void doest have one (i got to about 45k depth in the second void)
I put all the highest tier depth modules plus jet pack boost for prawn and thermal energy for cyclops in there. Wish I found a capsule like that in my playtrough
One time, while I was in my maxed survival world, I decided to go on a suicide mission to kill a reaper without a statis rifle or with gasopods. I killed 4 REAPERS WITH ONLY MY PRAWN SUIT IN SURVIVAL.... (and I found like 3 time capsules)

@@Spygozz if you want to, here’s the rules I followed (you can tweak them a bit if you want): No going above 0 meters, other than when inside the lifepod or an alien base. Only exception, as mentioned earlier, is the Aurora, where you can fix the drive core and get the Neptune blueprints, but I disallowed myself to scan anything while I was up there (I believe this means that the prawn suit is unobtainable, I’m like 99% sure there’s only 3/4 fragments outside of the Aurora). Pipes & air pumps are banned, as they kinda ruin the spirit of the challenge by being hey deploy this thing and now you get surface air. A few tips: Building vehicles is a little bit weird, but possible: if you deploy the Mobile Vehicle Bay right next to the QEP moonpool (the game doesn’t let you do so inside it) such that it floats into the moonpool, then nudge it around so it faces outwards, you can build a vehicle like that. *Note that if you leave the area while the MVB is still there, the moonpool will unload and the MVB will float to the surface.* To build the Neptune Escape Rocket, you can do the aforementioned MVB trick, and build base pieces above where the platform will spawn to hold it underwater. This results in an underwater rocket and the cutscene looks very cursed, but it functions! You have very limited Kyanite and Ion Cubes, due to a lack of prawn suit, so make sure to set aside enough for the Neptune before doing stuff with them.
When i finished my first playteough, i needed to put my cuddle fish and his friend a boomerang and say bye bye to them to the time capsule cause i couldn't just leave him in there.. ( Let me know if anyone of yall faound it, if ya did then pls write a piece of text that was written on it to prove that it was mine would be verry happy)
Dude, so far I found like 6 or 7 of these things and one had a cuddlefish egg. All my luck is gone given how a tree just knocked out my power during my day off XD
@@Spygozz nah I understand. Thanks for worrying though, I hope the power company shows up tomorrow to fix it, I wanna enjoy my days off work playing games
@@Spygozz I make seaglide, then seamoth, then moonpool and seabase in safe shallows, then funny upgrade modules, then cyclops, then new base somewhere else, then cyclops upgrades, then prawn, and finally escape rocket1!11!1!

@@SpygozzI can't wait either. I hope that the story with Alan continues, but in the water and with the feeling like Subanutica 1. Nice video from you! Did you find all the capsules in one day?
@@MK-ik8nx thank you very much and yes all of them found under 5 mins i think but i hope they will keep the prawn in subnautica 3 or at least something close to it
