Is pretty cool that they Spotlight a episode from the early Shannen Doherty seasons.

As a Charmed fan this is one of my favorites, the humor is on point, you can get a kick out of the Halliwells dialogue and the episode is just having a lot of fun with the camp. This is an episode that showcased how much fun was missing later on. Honestly bad outfits were my favorite thing about the show, I think that even if another Charmed related media comes out again (if they do) and it's well written I'd still want there to be tacky outfits, you can't have Charmed without them. For me I consider this one a good Halloween themed episode given the focus on horror parody.

Always becomes a great day when a charmed rewind gets posted! Also i heard a podcast with James Comer (he's worked on Charmed and various Star Treks) and he mentioned how actors playing the sisters would leave set before filming wrapped for the day and that would end up leaving like guest stars or other actors to act opposite stand ins or whoever and the two star trek guys worked with Scott Bacula on Enterprise were like appalled that the stars of the show would do that and sang Scott's praises for his commitment to the show as their leader in universe and on set.

I felt relief that this was an episode from Charmed's earlier season. At least the Halliwells will be nice(r) than naughty this time.

"And Then There Were Two" is honestly the only line I can remember from this episode word for word. Even back then at 14 years old I thought it was a weird thing to say.

"DAMMIT PHOEBE, I'M TRYING TO WATCH BUSHWACKED!"

Of all the options in the poll, this was the only episode I'd never seen. I still want to see Phoebe in the Cinderella dress someday! Nevertheless, this one was very funny. I particularly like a demon who just shows up, tosses Phoebe around, smashes a grandfather clock and then just...leaves. "Yeah, I'm done. No bigger plan right now. See ya!"

listening to this podcast now makes me think the demon should have been called The Demon of Fantasy. Maybe pulls characters out of books. then he summons Billie by accident. and this inspires him to pull out movie monsters. the wizard during the evil source/queen phoebe arc had better illusions. and people have done anger better like thet demon of anger in season 3 that caused the sisters to lose their powers temporarily. and the demon of repression in the lady godiva episode. it was just done better ironically in later episodes for using anger or illusions. and rethinking the leo/piper/dan love triangle just made me realize how bad piper has treated both of them. it'd kinda of been funny if leo and dan started dating each other. fine line between love and hate. and piper forced to watch both of the guys she likes find happiness. even if it didn't work out they could be dating other people. leo/dan just would be fun even it was only temporary.

Hey Alison! I would love to see you tackle some of the more serious star trek episodes and to see your take on them. I found your video on the inner light a nice change of pace from the light-heartedness of the manic episodes (tho I still love the manic episodes). Might I suggest some more niche episodes such as DS9: "Paradise" or TNG: "Frame of Mind". I feel you would have some amazing things to say about them and I know you would be able to bring some of your characteristic good humor and balance it well with a nice deep dive into the subject matter. This would be awesome and your content has always been top shelf. Thanks for reading my comment!

The mysterious line could have made a great line to introduce a Patreon Tie with the Phoeberella epiosde, But it seems that even in Charmed Rewind. That line will be forever shrouded in enigmatic incomprehension. "And Then There Were Two!"

Although I can't possible beat Phelans Carman, I'll give my two cents: Margoyle: lonely "kill it before it dies" watcher, going into every showing of this horribly boring movie, where apparently the best scene is the annoying blond girl crying for Billy. Carman: That's tough this episode, but I'll give props to Derryl. He had a horrible day, dealing with violent theater audiences and brutally murderd people all over town, while nobody at Halliwell manor cared at all. Have some great holidays and I'm looking forward to more episodes in 2024! =)

"And Then There Were Two" could be foreshadowing? I mean, they get Paige eventually, but for a while after Prue died, there were just two.

"So she freezes everything" Oh, yeah, that was something Piper could do. I was just listening to the previous Charmed Rewind, which was a Season 7 episode, so I had nearly forgotten that Piper could do anything other than commit explosive homicide and complain about baby-related things.

Probably one of my favorite episodes. The humor and the wit was on point, almost like a Buffy episode.

i'd say the demon is supposed to be talking in pop culture references ("and then there were none" by agatha christie, trix are for kids, etc.) but it doesnt make any sense if he's supposed to be an illusion demon. im guessing it was a tv demon or something in an previous version of the script but they never bothered making it make sense

I think, it's been a while since I've watched this one. I thought Leo ordered an appetizer that was just nuts or something like that. Like a mixed bowl of cashews and peanuts or something.

The funny thing is, Cole appears in a later episode in “Kill it before it dies” saying he learned the trick from the Demon of Illusion. Apparently they were buddies 😂 Correct me if I’m wrong Charmanders, but when the Demon of Illusion flings Phoebe he says “get up you miserable witch” so it seems he followed her cause he knew she was a witch. When Prue flings him he says “and then there were two” cause he realized she was a witch as well.
