Kanye changed the rap game? When you actually change the rap game, you have imitators copying your style. Run DMC, Rakim, Jay-Z, Eminem these are people who changed the rap game, most others simply just left their mark but to literally influence new styles to emerge thus making the rap game change, that isn't Kanye, he is not in that group above just mentioned. Kanye is gifted but I still don't see where he altered the couse of rap dictating where it will go.

Kendricks early O.D. era stuff, Tyler the creator, lil uzi, Drake, Ybn cordae and I'm sure more than I can think of off top are all HEAVILY influenced by Kanye in obvious ways (as well as in their own words) and most all the guys I mentioned are the biggest names in the industry right now

But Paak definitely has the talent, the charisma, and the drive to have crazy longevity and success. In my eyes he's the absolute best out there right now

It's sickening how little R&B/Soul is actually recognized, supported and appreciated out here. Ironically, Swiss radio hardly ever plays Paak's music, yet he has a nice little fanbase out here that packs out his shows.

The lineup for that festival that year is trash. Only Anderson Paak was worth it. Probably why there's not enough people.

I was at the show, first row. Crowd didnt really know him cause the location of the festival is quite remote and most attendants are locals wine makers, field grower, sheep fuqers and so on.. the ppl cheerin at him were the only ppl that probably either knew mr Breezy Lovejoy himself or realized the show was actually awesome. The man decided anyway to come down to the crowd and shake hands, dance together.. i mean what a show! He wasnt the main act himself at the festival. He was infact playing before some swiss DJ Producer Teenager Protegee somewhat that was the main act.. not comparable to A.P and the 3Natz buy hey most of swiss ppl cant spit a word in english specially in so remote areas. RIP to concerts due to covid btw. Swiss ppl are great beings once they let u enter their safe zone. Many thanks to who organized this great event, it feels like another life right now.
