The remarkable thing for me is how the kick looked like a body kick right up until it wasn't lol. That's why the opponent's guard was low.

I hope that they're not pressurized from the beginning to be unstoppable like their father. Both have incredible talent, but obviously they'll need to take time and polish their skills. I know Anderson can keep the pressure off of his sons, remember that Anderson suffered some bad losses and was already past 30 before he unlocked his full potential. I hope to see them fight Adesanya at some point, might mirror Izzy's own match with Anderson.

seeing Anderson age and come closer to retirement was always difficult for me, the light years between him and competition throughout most of his career always amazed me (like i am sure everyone else did), there were many people i would tell myself "yeah i would fight with him " but Anderson was just something else he was the one i would have fear of fighting with, out of sheer respect for what he does. Now seeing his sons coming up and that blood and talent running through their veins and them showing those glimpses of greatness just gets me so excited and the fact there is 2 of them?!?! ahhh i am so looking forward to the new gen Silvas, thanks Lawrence as always!

Very inspiring I'm glad Anderson Silva has his sons to be proud of. First fight st 22 goes to show that waiting while you train pays off no need to go in blind.

It helps that he's got a soccer background. Not just the insane footwork, but the conditioning.

My favorite part of all of this is Silva being such a gem of a human being and Father. In doing so we see the glory and beauty a Good Father can bring to the world. ❤️

As a martial artist since a child, and a fan of MMA/UFC since the early 2000's, and watching Anderson enter the UFC and his entire run, this is absolutely beautiful to see. Wow, how things come back around... both of those sons are beautiful to watch. This made me so excited, I can't even describe. Also, love your channel!!

It's always tough when you are the offspring of such a legend in any sport - Jordi Cruyff in soccer, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in boxing - so difficult to live up to your father's reputation. I hope these boys can forge their own paths and carve out their own legacies.

I was happy that Anderson retired when he did. It's amazing to see his boys are a chip off the old block. 2 natural born athletes with the best trainer and mentor. Sharing his experience and fight IQ is a very special gift.

Their front kick is superb. Such a basic skill really utilized effortlessly. Not even as push kick. I'd be very interested analysing that one technique as they use it.

Football is a very good sport for strikers. The footwork, endurance and strength you gain in your legs is second to none.

Wow! This is beyond impressive. This shows how not only raw talent but training is also important. They train with *The Spider*. They receive some of the best striking training they can get.

The younger brother is a natural born athlete. Could be top dog in near any sport he wants. I think the older brother is a real student of the ring though

It happens that just yesterday Gabriel Silva was brutally KO. It proves, to my humble opinion, there are not often unexpected geniuses in Martial Arts. Only hard work and perfect practice make fighters, real martial artists. It is clear Gabriel needs a lot, really a lot of hard practice, and may never be a martial artist. Excellent also the victory of Rose Namajunes again Wejli Zang that proves, again, how not recognizing your mistakes is proof you are on the wrong track and is completly not usefull to run after champions to improove. As lowrence underlines in his wonderful course : a champion is almost never your best teacher because he has shaped and understood technique according to his/her unique body and talents. You need someone to show you the way, step after step, slowly, continuosly, in detail and thoroughly.

That "starting the lawnmower" elbow knockout Anderson did was just ridiculous. What a legend.

Little unknown fact .. getting hit with the training Cushions gear with such powerful kicks and punches from pros? Even though you are just there to train them, it’s a own workout and it feels like you are the one under attack. It’s not as safe as it may seem behind such cushions. But it sure is a fun adrenaline rush.

I love this. Never heard of Silva's sons til today. And they look fluid.. I can jus imagine them watching their dad wen younglings and seeing things that need improvement and actually showing the upgrades wen fighting now that they have come of age. Im looking forward t9 the next level of fighting as the years go on and the step up in skills and strategy becomes more and more elite

I was actually at this event in Seal Beach to support some friends fighting and had no idea Anderson Silva would be there. This was actually awhile back.

The sky is the limit for Silva’s kids, they have the GOAT as their coach and father..

So glad you used the word "genius". I've always maintained that Silva is the one MMA fighter who can truly be called a striking prodigy. He was so many levels above his peers that he purposely made fights harder than they needed to be just so he could feel a challenge. This may've cost him in his later career, which happened to coincide w/ the rise of Jones, leading many newer fans to underappreciate his greatness. But while Jones was no doubt a phenom, his physical attributes gave him a large advantage over his division that greatly contributed to his success. Not so for Silva. His advantage was all skill & inhuman ability. So exciting to see that his natual gifts will live on through his progeny.

Lawrence, I love your analysis videos. I would like to see you analysing the head kick that Superbon threw to defeat Petrosyan. I think people aren't seeing how genius it was from Superbon. This is what I saw: Superbon throws a left body kick to prevent Petrosyan from throwing his left hand, Petrosyan catches it and goes for the counter 1-2. Superbon comes out of the kick defending the jab, evades the cross while throwing a left hook of his own and here comes the genius moment: he extends his right arm ACROSS Petrosyan's guard, blinding him and making him think this is a right cross. Petrosyan bites the feint and tries to lean back to evade a right cross, but gets hit with the most perfect right head kick I've ever seen in many many years. This is what I could see. I know you can break it down even more for us. I would like to see you talking about kicks in general orthodox vs southpaw matchup.

I used to train with a guy and went to one of his fights and his opponent threw a head kick as soon as he came out for a glove touch and my dude backed up to dodge it and like 10 seconds later knocked his opponent out with a head kick of his own! It was a real work of art! 💪
