I was following MMA since 1994. But when Anderson Silva joined the UFC he was simply uncanny. He was literally a living GOKU in "Ultra Instinct" state in that Octagon. So amazing to watch. Anderson is my GOAT, but not my favorite. Frank Shamrock and Wanderlei Silva are my all time favorites.
To those who never witnessed Anderson Silva while he was THE dominating force in the UFC, there was nobody more awe-inspiring. He was SO far ahead of his time. He's 47 now, and Jake Paul is only 25, so because of the age difference alone it's an intriguing fight.
DAN... Youre definitely a virgin and we're 100% a squeaker when Silva was cleaning house. If you were around in the pride days, you would be old enough to, not feel the need to tell people you were around for it. Especially in youtube comments section. Like a little virgin🤣
@@nickb.6726 Not really... Was Fedor knocking people out with reverse up-elbows? Knees? His knockouts were excellent, for sure, but not as awe-inspiring as Silva's. Anderson is a legend and his prime was something to behold, I agree with Dan S.
This was so awesome to so many people. It was hard to see Anderson get a little sideways and fall from grace. But most humans do at one point or another. Eternal legend. So is Chael and they've done a lot for the sport since their retirement. Respect 100x
Silva is just the nicest dude ever. His voice is super high pitched, compliments you, takes photos with you, and then out of no where you wake up looking at the bright lights, wondering what went wrong.
I remember the first fight with Chael and Anderson, I was a huge Anderson fan but I also knew Chael at that time and his run leading up to that was insane to watch. That first fight was one of the best fights of all time. Both guys are legends and good people, awesome to see they are friends and still crushing it in life.
Thank goodness the MMA community has actual fighters who will show up on weight, on the night and be ready to fight. Lame ass boxers have ruined it for me. 🙏 Anderson
Meh, I'm pretty sure it's because of the weight differences. Heavier weight classes tend to get more respect from the public for some reason even though the lighter weight classes are a whole lot more skillful but Dana White doesn't like the featherweight division
Thanks for taking the fight Mr. silva with Mr. P. Honestly...what an awesome way to show your love and support for combat sports. Much RESPECT. Bo-Bo melhor homem pode ganhar !!!
I love your fighter intros. Would love to see you one day do the fight announcements when Bruce Buffer retires. You ever thought of going for that gig?
My first time I witnessed Anderson Silva fight was against Chael sonnen And after that fight I like them both, coz Chael was the first time who almost shocked the world, when Chael was dominating Anderson Silva in 4 and 1/2 round and boom Anderson submits Chael sonnen.. And that's a very exciting fight
I loved watching the face off with Silva and Jake, silva is a nice guy but when he does the stare down he legit looks like a cold hit man ready to fight
Anderson should throw a roundhouse kick at Jake at some stage in the fight, just to add a bit of humor, natch the kick doesn't hit Jakes more than ample, Clutch Cargo jaw, but it will remind him of exactly what a machine he is in the ring with.
No other fighter in his prime did to his competitors what Anderson did. He made the other fighters look like they didn't belong there, like they weren't even professionals. Of course Father Time is ruthless and gets us all. You can argue about Fedor, GSP, Jon Jones and others being the goat, but no one, ever, did the way Anderson did.
Why is everyone saying Anderson will throw the fight? As if this man needs the money he was making 5 million a fight in the UFC, he’s a competitor he’s showing up to fight, no bullshit.
Fuck ando is so humble, its insane how demonic he gets in the oc or square!!! Legit just a fan for this fight like ando said, its humble legend conquering vs hungry youngin on the search for conquest
