ANDOR SEASON 2 TRAILER BREAKDOWN, REACTION & NEW REVEALS FROM D23! 

Andor was indeed a masterpiece in season one, and we can only hope they keep up that level of quality. As for those few Star Wars fans who didn’t like it - I was not even a Star Wars fan, but this show absolutely blew me over. It’s not just Star Wars; it’s great television. The script is masterful.

Just rewatched Andor season 1. I enjoyed it even more the second time around. However, its soundtrack really lets it down. It's unforgivably bad. The Acolyte - for all its flaws - had a great soundtrack!!! Just saying :-P

Rogue one and Andor are the only decent projects out of disneys Lucasfilm. However so was Mando till season 3, they still have time to screw up Andor.

What a shocker Andor was for those of us craving more intellectual, substantial content. It's become not just one of my favorite Sci-fi shows, but one of my favorite series of all time, alongside shows like Peaky Blinders, Breaking Bad, Firefly, etc. And I have so much faith in Gilroy and his team at this point, that I'm not even remotely worried about Andor Season 2 falling short in any way...nothing but EXCITED!!!

I await eagerly for S2.

Andor and Rogue One are the best products of all Disney SW . I am really excited to watch Season 2. This is how ordinary people can combat tyranny without needing lightsabers. This is another view of the Rebellion, the base on which all future events are built. If you are a SW fan, you can find all kind of references to the previous history. If you are not, you still can enjoy a great TV product.

I would watch 20 seasons of Andor if it was possible ! This is the very best of Star Wars under Disney, this is REAL Star Wars 😁👍👍👍

I hope Gilroy gets another movie or series in Star Wars. I want to see what he does with Jedi and Sith. And his attention to detail and writing is needed for future Star Wars projects

I love this show. It’s the only thing that has shown Star Wars at its best, the only thing i’m confident won’t be a let down. It’s right what Tony Gilroy says about keeping it at two seasons - that it would take years to do more and Cassien Andor would look too old for how he was in Rogue One.

Andor really illustrates the true cost of Freedom. It deeply affected me, cause we all know how it ends...

This is the one thing I'm really looking forward to. Andor is my kind of show and I loved the first season.

S2 is going to be more dark in tone than S1. I expect many important characters from S1 to die.

Last 2 episodes should be the Battle for Coruscant. I hope we see the utter destruction of the capital world as a way to symbolize the horrors of war. There were no good or bad people, just people fighting for their families. The people from the capital fight for their families and their empire in Coruscant and the Outer Rim to liberate their families from oppression. In the end, the capital reaped what it sowed.

When the creators trust the audience, old-fashioned character-building flourishes into brilliance in the hands of good directing and good acting. Andor is the future of Star Wars. Just tell more stories in this way and Star Wars will be fine. Cheers

While I'm gutted we're only getting 2 seasons instead of 5, I'm looking forward to season 2. Yes, Andor and Rogue One might be grittier than other Star Wars show/films but they still have the crucial thread that runs through the whiole franchise (except The Acolyte): hope.

Andor 2 will save starwars. A kenobi movie with clones will save starwars . Damn fool idealistic crusade . I can't forget the 501 trooper in Kenobi. There is a serious story to be told . Tie in to bad batch. Captain Rex. That is a story that can be big.

I also hope that maybe we could get a glimpse of Charlotte anyway and base Mel bus in the series that would be awesome like they could just be background characters or something like that because I know those two are one of the main characters in rogue one Star Wars story

Wasn't there an early rumor that one or two of the Bounty Hunters in SW: Ep5 would be in two episodes? Their 1st appearance early in the beginning of the series and a 2nd or 3rd appearance further to the end?

I still want a spin-off with Andy Serkis’ character joining the rebels.

I would love for Gilroy to make additional scenes for the prequels that better spelled out the politics of the galaxy. It's very easy to get lost on that front because it's so character centric that we miss the greater context of what's happening in the galaxy.

Rogue One and Andor are by far the best of Star Wars. Especially Andor because it was created for adults. I sincerely hope that Tony Gilroy will commence another Star Wars project after Andor. I'd be mega-hyped for that :)

The only way to make these star wars series awesome are based on the directors on how they make the series but when it comes to acolyte they messed it up and now andor will even more better

Calling "Andor S1 a masterpiece" is bold. I would say a masterfully done SW origin story of the Rebel Alliance. I have to see the story in its entirety before calling a masterpiece. I'm eager for S2. It has great characters that I care about.

Skeleton Crew, Agatha All Along, Mufasa, Snow White, they all look uninteresting. The rest of the year looks boring. The year peaked with Deadpool & Wolverine and that’s it. The Acolyte, The Boys S4, House of the Dragon S2, and Cobra Kai S6 Part 1 disappointed. I heard Echo was boring. The Rings of Power S2 looks to be another disaster coming our way in 3 weeks. The year of 2024 might be one of the worst years for entertainment since 2020. What did I truly *enjoy* this year? Ted, Fly Me to the Moon, Furiosa, and Deadpool & Wolverine. Kingdom of the Planet of Apes was pretty good but I wouldn’t say I enjoyed it. I still have never seen Dune: Part Two. I’m not sure Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is going to rock as I was never a big fan of the OG from ‘88. Never seen an Alien movie in my life. I was so disappointed with House of the Dragon S2, I’m considering of deleting the entire thing on my Pixel 3. Season 1 is superior but then is it superior to Game of Thrones S1-S6? Hell no. Okay, maybe arguable over S5. I’m starting to think the Game of Thrones lore should never be trusted after that disastrous final season. GOT S8 is the worst season in television history. A slap in the face. I was ready to buy GOT merch like a mini figure of Tormund, Jaime, or Tyrion but I think George R.R. Martin’s lore is headed where Star Wars is. It’s going to be overhated a lot and it will get stale. Will eventually become a laughingstock if HOT D S3 disappoints. I no longer believe in “franchises”. They all suck or will suck. MCU and Star Wars are no longer they once were. I’m excited for Doomsday but MCU will never be as great as Phase 3. The only trilogies that stayed safe are Back to the Future and The Godfather although their third movies aren’t as beloved as the first two. You can argue BTTF3 is better than BTTF2. Everything else will eventually suck. Look at Indiana Jones. My confidence is shaken for Andor S2 after the disappointment from Mando S3, The Boys S4, HOT D S2, and Cobra Kai S6 P1. Those four I loved at one point but they’ll end it poorly like LOST and GOT did. Only Loki S2 didn’t degrade much from it’s S1 although Rotten/audience score does have it lower at 82% vs. S1’s 92/90%. But at least Loki S2 didn’t plummet the way The Boys S4 and HOT D S2 did. Those two shows were highly anticipated and they disappointed. The Boys S4 got review bombed and is by far the most hated season of the series. Then the one I’ve relied on the longest, Cobra Kai, they are trying to stretch out the story too much. This doesn’t give me confidence for Andor S2 or for Stranger Things’ final season. We will expect and we will expect and then they disappoint like LOST and Game of Thrones. The Walking Dead fell off by S7 but really after S3. I enjoyed Stranger Things S1 and S4 but not so much for S2 and S3. It might end up being like Cobra Kai S6. Marvel, Star Wars, DC, they all suck. I will stick to individual movies and no more from popular franchises. The quality gets diluted after a while. Deadpool may not be Marvel Jesus but he might be Summer Jesus of this year. Which one hit for nerd culture? Dune 2, Furiosa, and Deadpool & Wolverine? And Furiosa did technically flop and it’s more niche. The popular streaming shows disappointed. What’s next to look forward to? Alien: Romulus? The Crow? It’s a bad year for movies and nerd culture content. Echo 👎🏻 The Acolyte 👎🏻 The Boys S4 👎🏻 House of the Dragon S2 👎🏻 Cobra Kai S6 (so far which is 1/3) 👎🏻 Year is over for me. Only waiting for Andor S2 and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms 10 months from now and whenever the final season of Stranger Things gets released. It’s no guarantee any of them will be good.

I just rewatched Rogue 1 on Saturday night with someone who’s never watched it before. It reminded me how excited I am fot Andor s2. Now that I know what the vibe of the show is like I think I’ll be able to enjoy it a lot more right away.

So Meg may get mad at me because I know she loves this show, but I have actually not seen the entire first season yet. I plan to binge it before S2 is released. I had a bunch of IRL things gong on when it was first release and I have not been able to work it in to the viewing schedule yet.

Andor is Star Wars on every fundamental level. It respects Lucas' vision and philosophy, it brings serious drama and personal conflict. But most importantly of all, Andor makes the Star Wars universe REAL.

There are people out there that still don't like Andor. This baffles me. It might not be Star Wars at its best, but it is the best of Star Wars. The unique part about it is that we already know the outcome! This is the power of great, not good, great storytelling. Since it has the same director, I can not see the quality dropping off. I am excited for everything coming up in Star Wars!
