I think the exact same thing. Same with ConMan167; like dude, I like Andrade too...but good lord, friggin' relax. This isn't exactly a major comeback, and...it's Andrade. It's Andrade. Like if it was someone HUGE and a surprise like Kurt Angle, I could understand the screaming but good lord!
"Oh AEW, it's gotta be so painful." Yeah, losing a guy who never stepped it up enough to belong in AEW and underperformed in every storyline he was in. That really hurts. Almost as much as losing Fragile Phil who can't wrestle one match without getting hurt.
Blame Tony Khan for writing him that way. He had to go through a burning table and didn't even want to do it. That and he was unhappy there as he went on mixed with being separated from his wife in Charlotte Flair who literally gets sidelined with a nasty injury in early December after Andrade loses to Miro so yeah tensions were high for him. He's still an incredible talent though.
@onyxsylvian That all sounds like a bunch of excuses for why Andrade failed to deliver. His matches are a bore, the fire he had in NXT was long beaten out of him on the main roster, and he never got it back.
Andrade, Jordynne Grace and Cargill stole the show wdm? Brock _WAS_ on the card for the Rumble match but Vince got accused of sexual harassment and with Lesnar's connection to the business he was replaced by Bron Breakker effective immediately. You could've removed Omos and put in someone else like Gangrel, Alexander Hammerstone or even The Rock but we got screwed on surprises. Sami was a decent surprise, but I'm not a Sami fan.
