This is the match that got me into tennis. I was 10. Thank you so much for all the emotions André! Rafa might be an incredible player, but he makes it look so easy, while watching struggling champions like André really tells a more meaningful story. We miss players like him on court!

The RG public wanted Steffi to win and she won, wanted Agassi to finally win and he won and most probably wished to see these two champs together, and they did, the RG public still holds the trophy of the most inspiring love story in tennis.RG public is the greatest public. here is another proof of the excellence of French journalism in this superb documentary.

RG 's crowd has no manners. And the only grand slam with half empty stadiums. Agassi / Graf is a great story though

@@benjaminsharp959 tennis wise yes the crowd is loud unfair extremely biased but I lived near RG stadium for many years and I 've kept great memories especially Steffi and Agassi finals, the crowd made it happen for them. when you get older you only remember the good stuff. the 80 ies and 90 ies simply the best tennis era.

This documentary is just so beautiful and artistic! I don't understand french very well...but even the commentating on the game sounds much better than what we have in US.

Roland-Garros 1999 was probably the best ever with these two legends of tennis. Now there is always an outsider who win the title for the woman and always nadal for the men. So boring.

@alstrom what do you mean? Are you referring to the French commentators, or the documentary filmmakers? Because the greatest intensity is provided by Agassi himself.

What a great champion! To fight against himself, the worst adversary

I don't think it was a story about someone fighting against himself. More about a lost man eventually finding himself and destiny that came to say "Yes my friend you have found your way. Here is an unexpected moment so you can realize it once and for all "

What a silly remark. Back then Steffi Graf won RG 7 times. And for men it was always an outsider. Pretty much the same except this time it isn't a woman who dominates RG but a man. The only difference is...tennis evolved. Don't hate...appreciate.

I'm pretty sure that Donald hates the last minutes of this... so it must be a good thing to spend money to educate children and give them the oppertunity to make their dreams come true

Hate the editing of this video….too much RG footage and the music belongs in a horror movie
