have you ever seen an interview with Brian Flynn? He will tell you how wrong you are and that he knows what you want better than you could ever know yourself. He crapped all over the ultimate edition bret hart and then said how much better and superior his figures are…. he also said Andre wore a yellow singlet…. this irritated the hell out of me and brian flynn can just bugger off

@@ADAM_COLLECTS I've only seen two Brian Flynn interviews so far, but I've loved both of them. We share a lot of similar opinions when it comes to figure breakdowns and the way they're displayed. Can you send me the interview you're referring to? The crazier thing is that it's not like Super 7 is inept, they are responsible for some of the best figs on the market. Their specialty is clearly non-human figures, but they've made multiple other pretty good Andre's. This run clearly ran into some sort of obstacle or there has to be some reason why this was approved.

Re; displaying, I like to pose, it takes up more space but it's fun to do and is my preference. I don't want a chess set display. I personally own the Japan Andre from Super7. I am happy with it, however, every other effort... Mattel did it better and cheaper. Yes, I realise the respective sizes of each business is grossly different.

After seeing promo pics of the Super7 Andre I passed. If I find this basic for a good price or on clearance I may pick him up. I have the black singlet Andre that came with the Ring cart and I like that look better. I do want that Ultimate Edition Andre when he hits later this year.

Personally, I got the Andre-Hogan two pack, and I feel that Andre is amazing. I dont need a lot of articulation with him. He's freaking Andre the Giant not Rey Mysteryo. This basic is way better than the Super 7, and imo the elite as well. I think this basic yellow trunked Andre looks the best of the three.

I'm actually looking forward to the Kane in this wave. He looks to be a re release (at least in the arms) from back when upper arm articulation was a thing, and it's an era of him that I grew to appreciate. The Andre looks good too, and for someone like him having basic articulation isn't as big of a deal as if we were comparing a Rey Mysterio or RVD.

Definitely a Basic that interests me. Great job on the head. Super 7 does some great stuff. I love my King Diamond. I wish I could buy more from them. But they just struggle with wrestling. I wasn't crazy about the other Andres but this one is rough. But keep the Basics Legends coming. Just hope we can get some outside of Hogan, Andre, Rock and the other usual suspects.

I guess the Basic boots will fit on an Elite. Losing ankle articulation but I think the proper yellow boots will look a far bit better on my extra Giant Machine Andre Elite. Hey, Kyle, been curious your option here. I know you like your pinless joints but I just ran across another 2001 Elite Steph and grabbed it because my first had the lower elbow joint fused to the forearm. Same on this one but with some heat I was able to free it up but the excess flashing looks horrible. It's hard to get the old exacto blade in there to clean it up so I'm just leaving it, I got both joints freed up. My RAW 3-pack Razor had the same issue, same left arm too. I'm sure this is a rare problem but breaking free those pinless Mattel joints is always a pain. Have you had the fused joint problem? I'm almost wanting to say I'd prefer pinned joints.

I think the difference is super 7 has the accessories. And the packaging. This figure looks better. He looks like Andre. If you're going to keep Andre in the super 7 box that's the one to buy. If not the basics is the better cheaper option. In my opinion. I guess if ppl want they could swap heads so the $55.00 Andre looks like him.

That’s one ugly ANDRE ($50) He looks more like a Caveman fighter (with or without the club) from THE FLINTSTONES if they had them in the ‘90s movies. $10 dollar ANDRE wins.
