I'm the same way I really like Andre Ward I myself am trying to pursue a career in Boxing. Andre Ward is Biracial his dad is White and Mother is Black. I'm African American but I have mixed ancestry so I come from a similar background like him. I know what it's like not to be accepted for who u are. Breaking down racism and social issues is big for me especially living in the U.S. when we are bombarded with these issues everyday.

He was always focused, well mannered, well spoken, and as we can see, knew his shit at an early age. He'd loose only one fight at age 12, and would never loose another fight, ever! Unfortunately, his dad would die soon, and his trainee Virgil Hunter would step into the role of father/ trainer, and guide him to glory as undefeated, multiple division champion of the world, SOG is one of the greatest who ever did it.

@@celtickid8847 thay can't make a movie on Andre they need a Beginning, Middle & End. Although Andre had a very hard upbringing, they'd also need him to fail as a professional and pick himself back up that never happened with Ward he dominated 97% of his opponents apart from the 1st Kovalev fight he beat everyone easily and retired undefeated. With Fight films they need that Clubber Lang moment where the fighter gets KTFO and comes back. Ward did have tragedy but after that it was Triumph after Triumph after TRIUMPH after *TRIUMPH* it wouldn't make for for great story telling he was to much of a winner

It takes a village. Hopefully the world will recognize that. Little did they know how good Andre would be. They did a good deed for many others and just happened to help a HOF boxer also. God Bless all the folks out in the world who will never be recognized for things like this that they do everyday without asking or expecting something in return. Truth be told Andre should be celebrated like Floyd Mayweather Jr. Was a prodigy, hasn't lost since he was 12 years old, last US gold medalist, undefeated pro, God fearing, family man, never got in trouble outside the room, always professional. Too bad to be a Black superstar boxer...you have to become the villain or be a knockout artist!

One oF the Best American Fighter that ever lace them up. Doubted him on the SupermiddleweightTournament and he beat the best in his division. Went up to LightHeavyweight. I thought he was gona get Mauled by a prime Kovalev. Boy i was wrong again. He TooK the most Dangerous Champ late in his career. I put him above Floyd.

Fascinating...he had only been boxing a year, look how good he already is at avoiding punches, there was definite natural talent from the start but he obviously had the work ethic too. That comment at the end about the people helping not being obliged to help shows he already had a maturity, awareness and intelligence...show me the boy and I will show you the Man. So annoying that Andre & Joe Calzaghe missed each other’s era. If you try and avoid bias to either man you should be able to accept that those two are two of the top 3 SMWs of all time & would of made for a great fight!
