Andrea Corr has a voice that just makes me stand still in awe and listen to every note.. Her voice is flawless. Nomatter what she sings whether it's a cover or with her family The Corrs songs. She always sounds perfect. Her tone is beautiful. I love the way she sang this too. Perfect. She is my favourite female singer of all time. I've heard of female singers now I have never had it to say that I had a favourite female singer. None of the female singers did anything for me as famous and rich as they are, none of them stood out. I wont mention any names but you all know the ones I mean. Some them even scream their bloody lungs out and call it singing. No. Take note ladies. This here is the what I call singing. Honestly I believe Andrea Corr puts them all in the shade. Every one of the em.She just never gets it wrong. Thank you Andrea Corr for sharing your voice with us all these years. God bless you. Susan
Big Fan being Irish myself have followed The Corrs since the start of their career , any song Andrea sings is perfection , she has an effortless way of singing any song and turning a cover into something magical ❤
its very live, yes she can sing just as good as her studio, her engagement with the mike proves it's live. please don't dish this, and be grateful for her sharing her voice to the world
Seems to me it´s half-playback. Andrea is singing live, the rest comes from the studio version. Look at position 2:00. The drummer beginns, you hear a cymbal-Crash but you don´t see it.
fotomusikus I don’t think that’s necessarily a cymbal you are hearing. It sounds to me like his snare drum. Any percussive instrument can “trigger” any sound when hit. Via the magic of modern sound reinforcement. Also possible he hits the top of an open hi hat...hard to “see” the source. Nothing wrong with backing tracks. The Corrs used them as did almost every pop and rock band throughout the 80’s to today. I doubt your observation is due to some backing track.
Desculpe minha observação, mais é só comparar uma versão (Essa) e a versão com todos os recursos eletrônicos do Schiller. Mudou totalmente. Beijos em seus corações!
Andrea Corr dokáže dát těmhle baladám úplně nový rozměr. Je to něžné, má to náboj, gradaci...prostě paráda. Za poslech stojí i například Everybody Hurts. Tom
all in This clip is beautifull : The Corrs , the singer, the song, the magic of the scene. My hart is Always beats for irish song and Andrea ' voice....Let's music make us fall in love and be at peace forever
@@RuddyIPA Which is why I always make sure I include it. :) Though it meant one night I happened to make eye contact with someone in the crowd who I knew was having an affair with a married man. He insisted I did it on purpose as a chastisement. Not really - it was on his conscience, not mine. :)
Gdlen1 its not silly it's very live, open ur eyes and ears more, her engagement with the mike is pure, and she's very truthful in person so it's very live

I think this performance may be a music video wherein a lot of post production mixing was applied. There’s no air around the instruments as you would get in a live situation. The vocals are too perfect and present. No sense of an audience.
True, the actual sound is the studio recording; I believe this video was intended to be aired on TV (or wherever they play music videos nowadays, other than youtube). Comparing this to the real live audio though, you can tell she nearly nailed it... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MxM65p-cj5s.html
Nuno Capela this is extremely live excuse me, it was in north London and she sings just as good live as her recordings, maybe sometimes better, its certainly not her style to stand there and power through a performance to have it played, if u can listen properly or more clearer her back ground singers can be heard as not with the original, Andrea puts her soul onto her songs she sings each note to a T, its very very live.
Like Guachugueder said, it's the studio recording. It has some changes when compared to that video that he said in the other comment. I'm not saying that she is not good. C'mon, The Corrs are my favorite band and I loved when Andrea took a chance on her own. I was just stating the sound unfortunatly isn't from there.
@S k The image was obviously recorded at the live event, no doubt about that. Luckily enough, we have the fan video to compare both of them. It's just a question of audio editing on top of the actual live music; I don't know why, really... The track was released as a double A side single along with 'Blue Bayou', and so was 'State of Independence' so maybe the record company commissioned those two tracks to be taped for promotional purposses. Nuno Capela isn't saying she can't sing - she does, and really well. The mix they used on this video is slightly different to the album one, but that's not a reason to assume this is the live sound (which is not). Other than that, your point of view is totally fine :)
