Really great. Andreas Danel's version of this piece, especially in the first movement with his extraordinarily inventive -- and brilliantly executed -- cadenza, was so satisfying. In all four movements, he meticulously honors the composer's composed rhythms and when he elaborates on them, his choices are thoughtful and subtle. I had the pleasure of performing my version of this concerto 75 times with many orchestras, including a few with the composer, Morton Gould, conducting. I am very impressed by Mr. Danel's interpretation. Bravo to you, Andreas Danel ! Morton Gould would have loved your performance of his unique concerto.
