I had a strange but wise and very wealthy boss once who would say to me "don't jump in and fix it" as I'm one of those people who gets stuff done. We'd foresee issues with our customer with planning, scheduling, shipping etc. When they didn't want to listen We'd let it play about and get to crap. Like my boss said they won't do anything until a dollar figure is put on it, like when we send the invoice. This is what's happening here, wait until tourists and the world see what we have become, the money we'll lose and the bad press we'll get. Maybe now the officials and NZ will wake up!

I was at a new gym today and I asked if the Ladies changing rooms were safe. I was told that a man can wake up, claim to be a woman, and then use the ladies changing rooms. (In other words - no - it is not safe) I asked "what if that man is a predator with previous criminal convictions" and they said, Yeah. It is the law that this person can use the Ladies changing rooms.
I worked in construction all my life. Occasionally when we got busy we would employ agency plumbers or pipefitters. The Kiwis and Aussies were the best, honest, hardworking, decent blokes. I can't believe what is happening there now.
I lived in Earls Court in the 70s. I had great Australian and NZ friends nearly all guys and it was like having a lot of brothers they were very protective. We had great times and great laughs.

She is the common denominator in all minority groups, and the one treated the worst in all of them.
