I was going to head along to hear what Posie Parker had to say. As a mother I would have had to bring my child along. When I saw the radical trans activists were going, I decided it would be too unsafe as a mother, a woman to go. And I was right. I have never been scared as a woman to go out and do anything. I was there and it was terrifying. I can understand why the 3rd caller was so destressed. My heart goes out to her. On that day I decided to stay on the outskirts of the event because there were so many trans activists and angry people I was already scared. After the barriers were broken down the I could hear screaming inside the rotunda. NOT ONE POLICE PERSON WAS INSIDE THE BARRIER. Near to where I was standing, there were 4 police - two of them look senior, standing around under a tree. (the only police I personally saw at all at the event) I asked "Can you please go in there and help, there are no police helping those women". I was ignored. About 5 minute later it was still happening. Nothing was being done, women were being punched and trampled. I went back to the police and they were still standing there, appearing to do nothing. One of Kellie-Jay Keen's security men were there with them looking very shaken. He was trying to get help too. It was terrible. Women were singled out and mobbed. Activists screaming "Fuck of Nazi, Fuck off TERF, Fuck of cunt, Trans lives matter". Terrifying. Some hours after Kellie-Jay Keen was attacked and forced to leave, I was at Aotea Square, sitting with two other women on a bench resting and chatting. - this was hours after the event in Albert Park. We were some distance from the activists. We were three middle aged women, no signs, no protest paraphernalia at all.. Eventually the activists saw us and came up and surrounded us. 50-100 of them. They saw an easy target of 3 lone women. They were screaming in our faces and banging drums and pans. Doing their best to intimidate. Incredibly, there were 3 police standing 10 metres away. But they just stood back and ignored what was happening. The activists were screaming "Trans rights are human rights" Fuck off Nazi, TERFS go home". It was so loud and incessent and nasty. So much vicious hatred directed at us. I was starting to get quite scared and looked over at one of the cops. He saw me looking but kept avoiding eye contact. The women I was with were really strong and telling me its going to be okay, stay calm. I took out my phone to video what was happening but my hands were shaking so much I put it back in my pocket. The mob was so crazed, I didn't want them to see that I was frightened. They started getting more and more aggressive, several of them standing over us on the bench that we were sitting on, screaming. One of them spat on me. Eventually, one of the women started to stand up for herself, because an activist was getting violent with her. At the point, the police, reluctantly came over and surrounded us so we could get out safely. As we were leaving I said to one cop "we were just sitting, minding our own business, why were you not helping?". He said to me "You knew what you were doing, hurry up and leave or I will arrest you for causing a disturbance." Is this seriously how women going to be treated by the New Zealand Police now? And to all of those women that were screeching and swearing at me: is this what you want for the women and girls in your life?

A set up by government just like it was a set up in Melbourne with the Nazis, sent in by the Victorian government. The police in Australia failed as well. I was an organiser for Brisbane in Queensland and the police gave us an undertaking, months in negotiation and then on the day they did a complete turn around. There were not supposed to be any trans activists in the area we had the permit for, the police said they would keep them away but on the day they actually gave them a police escort to the event, they escorted them into the area so they could intimidate women. The police were more aggressive to the women than they were to the aggressive trans activists. There was even a police officer who was wearing a trans lanyard. When you realise how blatantly the media lies about what happened at this event it shows how much power this ideology has, what else is the government and the media lying about. Can we trust ANY mainstream media and the government. I'm in Australia and it is no different to what you are experiencing in NZ. This is a global lie which shows that there is not a single government. I'm pretty sure that the media in Australia and NZ are the worsts as they remain completely silent, completely complicit. We see other countries actually reporting on these issues but silence in our part of the world.

As a new Zealand woman, and someone who does not get involved in politics, but this time I will - I just have to express that I am horrified to see images, videos, and hear that women, including elderly women were assaulted and hurt and intimidated - and simply because of their views, that assault was justifiable? ! No human being - no one should feel violated. I love trans people, but I care fiercely for my fellow sisters - and when another female is hurt someone shuts down her voice - they are doing it to all women. To all of us. I have been trying to follow this report - and am glad chris hipkins condones violence. I hope he understands that many ordinary women were scared that day when we heard of this incident.

I listened to the full 3 hour program this morning. I expected it to be good but was quite overwhelmed by the trauma that some of these women went through and some clearly are still suffering. I'm sure that this govt. will try to lie their way out of responsibility, they're good at that, they've had a lot of practice. Like many people, we are quit e shocked that this could happen in NZ and wonder how we can find a way back from this.

Me and my friend decided o meet up there after hearing about the gathering the day before, we did not know Posey and pretty much wanted to just hear what she had to say and also catch up cos we hadn't seen eachother for a while. When we got there we immediately saw a huge crowd and thought wow this is active and then realised after hearing the chants that the tranz and rainbow people had taken over and were bullying the listeners who actually heard nothing from Posey but were screached at by the lips of men dressed as women and had cooking utensils and sports devices used as sound weapons we have been very disturbed by this it was an ambush and a horror movie these people had demons that's all I can say. The betrayal of the police was a double whammy we really needed them and they gave the mad crowd licence to riot and drive people away with such aggression I can't believe it was like a Tsunami of hate and potentially murderous intentions. Millions now know PosieParker as a heroine so thanks you rainbow dogs for promoting us as real women.
We also went down to Destinys rally and they stalked us all there, we were ok until Destiny crowd left and we were left to be stalked and harrassed and bullied it was crazy we were scared to go down in the carpark to go home because they were crawling everywhere like dogs hunting rabbits. Police stood by and watched it, when you are surrounded by mad people you cannot move, you are too scared to push through the wall of filth. It was a crime scene and all the CCTV footage needs to be secure and available for an investigation, anyone who was recording should share it far and wide. Anyone assaulted please report it to online 105 to start a papertrail for the investigation. If you have noise damage in your ears go and report it to your Dr and get a referral for a hearing tinnitus test.
