What is wrong with you, and what part of *limited run* don't you understand? If you want to watch this revival of Falsettos over and over again, you're in luck because they've filmed it: unless the White House completely eliminates public television, the new production will be on PBS next year. This spring, Christian Borle is starring in "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory." He only agreed to a short (limited in advance) revival of Falsettos because it ended in time for him to start full-time rehearsals for his new musical. There isn't enough demand for a full, open-ended Broadway production of Falsettos, and the actors weren't interested in committing to this: it's a small show that fit perfectly off-Broadway, and while it was a critical hit, it wasn't exactly a box-office smash during its original Broadway run 25 years ago.

As for your statement, "they might not 'be allowed' to release it on PBS: Who or what are you quoting? The film exists and will eventually be available at the NYPL Theater Archive regardless of whether it is shown on TV - not that it matters much either way, because the archive is underfunded, most people don't know about it, and the library's underpaid staff makes the archive it shockingly hard for the public to access. The 2016 revival's lyrics included some changes from the original off-Broadway and Broadway productions. I found the changes jarring at best and mildly offensive at worst; they were not an improvement and are not worth preserving. Then, the remaining lyrics were Bowderized for the two filmed performances, not because PBS asked for this, but because the producers didn't want to cause controversy by including the words "fucking" and "shit" on TV: it's a serious musical about dying of Aids, and children might be watching! So, if that's the archived version I'd rather they hadn't filmed this show at all.

hush now Kat was great in Smash. Yes they may of screwed up the stroy lines a bit but there were a lot of problems going on behind the scenes. For the most part Smash was a great show and I miss it and I loved all the cast members on the show.

I feel sure it's a hocus pocus situation, meaning he's sucked the souls of innocent children around him for centuries in order to maintain a youthful, glowing appearance as no one with skin that tight and hair that luscious has actually ventured far from losing all of his or her baby teeth, age wise. because NBC cancelled Smash

It's ACTUALLY because he had a show on NBC that got cancelled after its first season called The New Normal that got good reviews and reception but was still cancelled. They made fun of it during the 2013 Tony Awards with Lauren Benanti (Cougartown from NBC that got cancelled that year) and Megan Hilty (Smash, NBC, also cancelled) with Neil Patrick Harris which was hilarious. So now the running joke is they have a vendetta against NBC.

AtomicBlonde because he literally recreated the audition scene from smash but added a little bit of comedy to it. also because smash was one of nbc's most beloved shows and they still canceled it (which obviously crushed the theatre community) and Andrews show had also been canceled earlier the same year (which was also an amazing show that was canceled after one season)

Laura Benanti was never on Cougar Town and Cougar Town was on ABC, not NBC.
