Richard! Loved the real video lol. Good luck going through the workbook. Take your time through it and make sure to experiment playing in the different keys. If you want the video course email our support and I'll get it added to your account (you should already have an account with the Soloing in 20 Days e-book copy). Looking forward to seeing your progress!
I signed up for emails from that guy , but it’s as far as I got, haven’t actually done anything or used anything yet 😂, I certainly haven’t attempted tabs yet , I’m still fighting with bar chords , can play a few of them but my gammy hands let me know which positions I can’t manage yet 😂,, if you Like bluesy stuff check out Jules Guitar ( might have mentioned him before) but his methods are pretty easy to follow, 5 note boxes etc , definitely helped me out anyway ( although you’re more advanced than me so probably already use that stuff ) talking of headphones, I bought a cheap pair from gear for music ( under 20 quid ) they work pretty well , the sound is good , to my ears anyway,, nice one Rich 👍👍🤠🎸
I like Jules Guitar, he’s a great teacher for sure. As for barre chords, I’m not too bad but changing from an open chord to a barre chord is still tricky in a number of cases! As for headphones, the house will just have to suffer 🤣🤣🤣🎸🤣🤣
@@thenovicenoisemaker I keep learning a bit of something, get bored and move on to learn a bit of something else and so on , although I do go back and learn a bit more now and then, it’s a slower process but seems to be working a bit for me , I’ve noticed certain things are easier now when I go back to try again, I’ll never be on stage at Glastonbury so I’m not too worried 😂👍👍🤠🎸
Behringer HPM1000s are supposed to be for studio monitoring, although obviously there are better (i.e. more costly) monitoring headphones out there, so they'd perhaps be a good choice for an emergency back up set of monitor headphones to keep in a drawer, or if you were out and about in a live situation and would not be too arsed if they went walkies. Personally, if I'm not actually using my monitor speakers and for some reason want to mix using headphones (which in reality is not the best way to go about it) I use a pair of Sony MDR-V150 Monitor headphones, which are cheap enough to not be arsed about breaking or losing, but do an okay job in terms of having a flat response for mixing. And that's the important thing with monitor headphones; as with studio monitors, they are not supposed to sound 'good', they are supposed to sound completely neutral, i.e. not colour or improve the sound in any way whatsoever. This is so that if you mix something or are recording, you know what is going in has the correct levels and the required tone, whereby anything good about it is not as a result of the headphones or monitor speakers themselves. This means, if what you are hearing on your monitor headphones sounds shit, it is (possible but not likely) because the headphone output of the equipment is not good or faulty, or (far more likely) what is being played is actually shit in terms of its sound qualities and probably needs some EQing.
Hi Rich here ,"Poor here ". Justin Guitar is s good step by step but, you can step outside the box, and then you end up like me. Lost! Just about had a heart attack when your pup barked! Loved your objective view of the headphones. Happy reading.
Hi buddy. Looks like a fun project… But a lesson EVERY day for 20 days sounds like a lot to me… if that’s how it’s supposed to be done 🤔 I say take 1-2 lessons or so every week until you’re done, and practice the lesson you just took for a couple of days before moving on to the next. … Oh, and have fun doing it 🙂
I can recommend audio technica ATH M50X headphones 🎧 cant remember how much they are they wont be 9.99 😂 but whatever they are i haven't regretted it and the Mrs is also happy with em 😂😂😂
Hey mate...sick ink on your right shoulder. Yeah, stuff is too overwhelming mate. I'm an Autist, so stuff can get WAY too much, but enough of that. Wish you the best of luck making the learning click, although, you and I both know, you probs won't stick to it lol. Love you, mate and take care! PS DO hope you stick with it 😉
