Andrew Tate is now the world's most famous convert to Islam. Interestingly, Tate believes that Islam dehumanizes women by requiring them to cover their faces. Is it any coincidence that a notorious misogynist joined a religion that he believes is degrading to women? David Wood discusses the issue.
For more on Andrew Tate's conversion to Islam, watch these videos by David Wood and Whaddo You Meme??:

Andrew Tate was not attracted to Christianity, آلَنۣۗـۙوُر وُ آلَظۣۗـۙلَآمۣۗـۙ, where a husband is commanded to love his wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for it (Eph 5:25). Rather, he was attracted to a religion that tells you to hit your wife (Quran 4:34) and that Allah will forgive you if you pimp out your girl (Quran 24:33). And 1 Corinthians 11:15 says a woman's long hair is her covering, آلَنۣۗـۙوُر وُ آلَظۣۗـۙلَآمۣۗـۙ. Be careful not to lie.

Be careful not to be a hypocrite, آلَنۣۗـۙوُر وُ آلَظۣۗـۙلَآمۣۗـۙ. Women are not allowed to give the Friday night khutbah in Islam either. They are not even allowed to sit with men. We are not talking about that. We are talking about Andrew Tate wanting to hit women and pimp them out and have multiple wives, things that are allowed in Islam (Quran 4:34, Quran 24:33).
@bowrudder899
@bowrudder899 Год назад
Yes, you lied, آلَنۣۗـۙوُر وُ آلَظۣۗـۙلَآمۣۗـۙ, something that we expect from you, since Mohammed said you could lie (Sahih al-Bukhari 4037). Only in your religion are you allowed to have sex outside of marriage (Sunan an-Nasai 3959), have sex slaves, have sex with other men's wives (Sunan Abi Dawud 2155,) and pimp out your girls (Quran 24:33). It is shameful and disgusting, but Andrew Tate is attracted to it. And, no, that is NOT allowed in Christianity. For women, wearing makeup, not wearing a hijab, wearing short clothes, having cosmetic or breast surgery, etc. are all imposed on women by society, the media, and the people around them only to make them look better to maintain the standard of beauty. When they say wearing a hijab is oppression, then they should know that they are (those who don't wear hijab) under more oppression than Muslim women. Millions of women around the world wear hijabs only because they love to, not because they are forced to. However, wearing a hijab is not oppression. It's just modesty and a code of modest clothing among women which is commanded by the Almighty God himself. Those Muslim women who don't wear hijabs are under oppression because they are forced by society, people, and the media to not wear the hijab because they think if they wear hijabs they can't show their beauty to people, especially to men. The difference is just how you think about it. But in the broader sense and logically not wearing a hijab is oppression because they want to maintain the standard of beauty imposed by society, which is wrong. Wearing the hijab is the command of God (Allah), whereas showing the body to people and nudity is the demand of society and the media. By showing your body to people, you get nothing. Nobody cares. People who argue that wearing a hijab is not normal or oppression will never say that a woman having multiple sex partners, pornography, prostitution, se*x between the same se*x, or having multiple genders in the world is not normal. All of these are prevalent in western culture. For the betterment of women and society as a whole people must follow the command of God, not the command of a flawed society. @@leemcdonald1342 Why Hijab? One of the many questions that I have been asked is why does Islam make hijab mandatory for women? Islam has introduced hijab as part of the decency and modesty in interaction between members of the opposite sex. Verse 59 of chapter 33 quoted previously gives a very good reason; it says: “This is more appropriate so that they may be known [as Muslim women] and thus not be harassed [or molested].” (33:59). Men, whether they confess it or not, are slaves of lust and desire. • Hijab protects women from such men; it symbolizes that she has been sanctified to one man only and is off-limit to all others. • Hijab contributes to the stability and preservation of marriage and family by eliminating the chances of extramarital affairs. • Finally, it compels men to focus on the real personality of the woman and de-emphasizes her physical beauty. It puts the woman in control of strangers’ reaction to her. Commenting on the attire of women in North Africa and South East Asia, Germaine Greer, one of the pioneers of the women’s liberation movement, wrote: “Women who wear cortes or huipiles or saris or jellabas or salwar kameez or any other ample garments can swell and diminish inside them without embarrassment or discomfort. Women with shawls and veils can breastfeed anywhere without calling attention to themselves, while baby is protected from dust and flies. In most non-Western societies, the dress and ornaments of women celebrate the mothering function. Ours deny it.”1 Note that she also specifically mentions the salwar, kameez and jellabas that are used by Muslim women in the East. Feminists and the Western media often portray the hijab as a symbol of oppression and slavery of women. This sexist angle of viewing the hijab reflects the influence of Western feminists who are subconsciously reacting to the Judea-Christian concept of veil - “the symbol of woman’s subjection to her husband”.2 To look at one’s own religious or cultural history and then to pass a judgment against another religion is, on the milder side, an intellectual miscalculation, and, on the harsher side, outright cultural imperialism! My father made an interesting observation in an article that when the Europeans penetrated the interior of Africa a century ago, they found some tribes who went about naked. They forced the tribes to wear clothes as mark of civilization. “Now those advocates of ‘civilization’ are themselves discarding their clothes. One often wonders if the ‘primitive tribes’ of the last century were not more civilized than the rest of the world. After all, it is rest of the world which is now imitating the ways of the so-called primitive society.” 3 I am surprised at the society which shows tolerance towards those who would like to go around topless but finds it difficult to tolerate a lady who by her own choice wants to observe hijab! According to Naheed Mustafa, a Canadian Muslim, “In the Western world, the hijab has come to symbolize either forced silence or radical, unconscionable militancy. Actually, it’s neither. It is simply a woman’s assertion that judgment of her physical person is to play no role whatsoever in social interaction. Wearing the hijab has given me the freedom from constant attention to my physical self. Because my appearance is not subjected to scrutiny, my beauty, or perhaps lack of it, has been removed from the realm of what can legitimately be discussed.”4 Hijab is not a symbol of oppression. Women are oppressed because of socio-economic reasons even in countries where women have never heard about hijab. On the contrary, the practice of displaying pictures of almost naked women in the commercials, billboards, and in the entertainment industry in the west is a true symbol of oppression. Neither does the hijab prevent a woman from acquiring knowledge or from contributing to the betterment of human society. Historically women have also greatly contributed to Islam. Lady Khadijah, the first wife of the Prophet, played a significant role in the early history of Islam. A successful businesswoman in her own right, she was the first person to accept the message of Prophet Muhammad (S). Her acceptance and faith were a great source of emotional support for the Prophet. She stood by her husband in the difficult days of early Islam, and spent her wealth for the promotion of the new religion. The first Muslim person to be martyred in Muslim history was a woman by the name of Sumayya, the wife of Yasir and the mother of ‘Ammar. She was killed along with her husband for refusing to renounce Islam. Lady Falimatu ’z-Zahra’, the daughter of Prophet Muhammad, was a beacon of light and a source of guidance for the women of her time. She faithfully stood by her husband, Imam ‘Ali, in his struggle for his right to the caliphate, and strongly protested against the first violation of the right of inheritance for daughters in Islam.

That's why Jesus is given, if we put ourselves under his Lordship, we acknowledege the meaning of life cannot be claimed by own lustful and selfish desire but by denying our selves, carrying our cross, (Matt.16:4) setting our eyes on heavenly things(Col.3:2) as Jesus Christ had shown, as he is our master, for he must be greater and we must be lesser.

Why Hijab? We must also guard against all waywardness in our use of them. For instance, *it is not right for a woman to wear her dress up over her knees,* as the Laconian maidens are said to do, because *a woman should not expose any part of her body...* I should like, too, not only that it be *forbidden them to expose their ankle,* but also that *it be made obligatory for them to wear a veil over their face and a covering on their head.”* … “Further, the man and woman each must come to the church dressed becomingly, with an unaffected walk... *Let the woman observe this further practise: Except when she is home, she should be completely veiled, for her appearance will be dignified only when she cannot be seen.* She will never fall into sin if she always keeps modesty before her eyes, and *retain her veil,* nor will she lure others into an occasion of sin by baring her face.” In conclusion, the earliest Christians (ie truest to Christ and his apostles’ message) had more in common with Muslims than most modern Christians realize. 🙏

The only thing he’s exposing his how ignorant he is of his own religious tradition… (assuming he’s sincere in his Christian faith… many are not) *Clement of Alexandria* (2nd century CE Church Father) in his book “Paedagogus”: “We must avoid any irregularity in the type of garment we choose. 🙏

Why Hijab?

Narrated Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet) "Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) intended to go on a journey, he would draw lots amongst his wives and would take with him the one upon whom the lot fell. During a Ghazwa of his, he drew lots amongst us and the lot fell upon me, and I proceeded with him after Allah had decreed the use of the veil by women. I was carried in a Howdah (on the camel) and dismounted while still in it. When Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) was through with his Ghazwa and returned home, and we approached the city of Medina, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ordered us to proceed at night. When the order of setting off was given, I walked till I was past the army to answer the call of nature. After finishing I returned (to the camp) to depart (with the others) and suddenly realized that my necklace over my chest was missing. So, I returned to look for it and was delayed because of that. The people who used to carry me on the camel, came to my Howdah and put it on the back of the camel, thinking that I was in it, as, at that time, women were light in weight, and thin and lean, and did not use to eat much. So, those people did not feel the difference in the heaviness of the Howdah while lifting it, and they put it over the camel. At that time I was a young lady. They set the camel moving and proceeded on. I found my necklace after the army had gone, and came to their camp to find nobody. So, I went to the place where I used to stay, thinking that they would discover my absence and come back in my search. While in that state, I felt sleepy and slept. Safwan bin Mu'attal As-Sulami Adh-Dhakwani was behind the army and reached my abode in the morning. When he saw a sleeping person, he came to me, and he used to see me before veiling. So, I got up when I heard him saying, "Inna lil-lah-wa inn a ilaihi rajiun (We are for Allah, and we will return to Him)."

Words and phrases are inserted in brackets to modify the meaning to suit one's own narrative. This is extremely normal and deliberate. If you see brackets or other markings, then that part is not in the original Q'n. It might seem dishonest to you, but they could care less. One explanation is that they consider all translations as unauthentic compared to the Arabic original anyway, so anything goes.

In Christianity the Apostle Paul laid down the rule: "Do not go beyond the things that are written." (1 Corinthians 4: 6) Which means that the only certainty is what is actually written. Any interpretation made of that cannot be held up as being direct from God. And it also means that if we interpret something a certain way, we should not force our reasoning or understanding upon other Christians, or judge them for it. And it certainly means we should not invent new things not in the Bible and hold it up as being Revelation from God. While God may give individuals insights and deeper understanding, that is for them, not for new doctrine to the congregations. Or at least, that is my understanding of his words from the context.

Why Hijab? She faithfully stood by her husband, Imam ‘Ali, in his struggle for his right to the caliphate, and strongly protested against the first violation of the right of inheritance for daughters in Islam. ............

My cousin is the only female in her family that does so BY CHOICE and when her mother and other family members tried to convince her to stop covering her face, she REFUSED.....because it was her choice. Not all Muslim women fit the narrative of being forced by their parents or a spouse. I don’t wear the hijab. However, I dress modestly. I cover my arms with full length sleeves.....by choice. My parents never had an issue with me wearing short sleeves. You cannot assume that every single Muslin you see....even if it’s the daughter or wife of a Muslim scholar...was forced to dress that way or that she is being controlled. And the wearing of clothes that objectify women is also a form of mind control and not quite the liberation thar people believe it to be.

@@mohammadadnan9685 your interpretation is somehow twisted and you try to compare oranges to apples. Whatever is compulsory IS OPPRESSION. If extreme covering is compulsory and severely punished if not worn properly then this is very oppressive. Hence revolutions and wars happen in countries like Iran and Afghanistan. Women shave their heads, burn scarves and try to get the fack out to Europe. There might be women who tolerate or even like it but that depends on the story they tell themselves to justify why they THINK its their choice and it's better for them. Then you try to compare it with wearing makeup in the west but from what i heard theres big pressure on women in persian, arab etc muslim communities how they look too so they also have to wear makeup or look in specific way to be valued. In the west everyone is FREE TO CHOOSE wether they want to wear make up, enlarge breasts, stay natural, cover up, wear whatever type of clothing as they please.

The famous commentator Ibn Kathir commented on (Q. 4:34) saying: "Men are superior to women, and a man is better than a woman."[8] Other commentators such as Razi, Baidawi, Zamakhshari, and Tabari are of the same opinion. Razi, commenting on Q. 4:11, said: "(The males share is that of two females). Man is more perfect than the woman in creation, and intelligence, and in the religious sphere, such as the suitability to be a judge, and a leader in worship. Also, the testimony of the man is twice that of the woman. So that whoever is given great responsibilities must be given correspondingly great privileges. As the woman is deficient in intelligence and of great lust, if she is given much money, much corruption will be the result.

In conclusion, women must wear hijabs according to God. *************::::::::::::::::::::****************

Tate would be a well known scam artist and psudo pmp who makes money off of cam girls and prn. He also pretends to be a masculine figure by giving the typical advice popularized by the manosphere and redpill years before he came into the spaces, which in turn helped in his expansion of making wealth off of exploiting men struggling to get by. Tldr he thinks hes Kevin Samuels but he's actually just another dating roach.

David is now furious because thousands of people around the world convert to Islam every year. Wood knows he can't stop the avalanche of conversion to Islam. The only thing he can do is spread hatred and misinterpretation against Islam. Honestly, nothing will work. When people come to know that Islam is the truth they will convert to Islam regardless of having the highest criticism.

@@mohammadadnan9685 I'm sorry for the confusion, I was actually talking about Tate.. I think David wood makes these videos because he intends to call out toxic behaviours that people like Andrew Tate inhibit. Andrew Tate IS a misogynist, and even if islam doesn't promote misogyny, and it's great if you're a Muslim that respects women, misogynists WILL abuse the verses susceptible to interpretation, and that interpretation can be passed on to new young believers, creating more misogynists. That's why people get mad about Andrew Tate and Islam.

@@tonywoutrs Do Not just define someone's position just by watching short clips that are taken from long podcasts. Andrew Tate is not a misogynist he cleared that on many of his podcasts. Watch the full podcast before blaming someone as a misogynist. It's wrong.
@tonywoutrs

@@mohammadadnan9685 How did he clear that out then? He has said plenty of things that sound misogynistic. He'd only not be misogynistic if he were joking, trolling or playing a character a lot of the time. And the sad part is, joke or not, a lot of followers eat every word, young guys have become more anti women because of him. I hope you understand how impressionable young guys are when looking up to someone as guidance to manhood. Just saying "I don't hate women" doesn't undo that. A man is judged by his actions.
