I can tell you have good intentions but you are wrong on some points. First of all, you will not get disciplined by simply watching videos about discipline no matter if you watch it every day all day or whatever. The only thing that will improve your discipline is doing things you don't want to do and do them without exception, no matter if you are tired, hungry or any other excuse you can come up with. On paper it is simple but the hard part is execution. Your confidence will improve but not because you "fool yourself" by "watching videos everyday" and "talking to yourself". The confidence comes because 1) you do hard things everyday thus improving both your discpline AND phyiscal capability and when you experience that you can do stuff you couldn't do earlier, you will feel more confident. If you simply just watch videos about discipline you will feel good while watching but the long term effects aren't there. The single deciding factor is you doing it, execution. And 1-2 weeks is not enough, lol. You need to do it.. for *years*. However you do it one day at a time and before you know it, a week has passed, a month has passed, then 6 months, a year, etc. Suddenly it is a habit and when you don't do it you will feel bad, this is a sign that your self discipline has improved.
