Definitely. I made a significant amount of money in the stock market when I started studying finance in 2019 the same year I was heartbroken. I felt the need to do something big so i just studied markets for hours like 100 hour week type hours. It turned out pretty well I still trade markets to this day

So true I can 100% say it I recently got in a break up with my Gf of 6 years. And it’s already been 10 months & I still feel sad and depressed at times, and she’s over there happy living life and I am burly trying to shake these emotions and feelings off. But I definitely felt it and still feel it at times.

I agree with his overall message on channeling negative feelings towards being productive but there's forms of depression/anxiety / etc which cannot be solved through just being "busy". There's times where a chemical imbalance in the brain is present and what would really help is different forms of therapy like CBT. Or a medication plan, it comes down to solving the root of problem. Granted there's some people who aren't actually depressed just going through a phase in life but actual depression doesn't come and go it sticks like glue regardless of what you do externally.
