Hi Alex, thank you for your guide. I have successfully upgraded my PX6 from Android 9 to Android 10 with this method. In my headunit, there are 3 USB ports, none of them are detected as "GPS" so upgrading with a USB drive will not work. They are detected as follows in File Manager: USB1 USB2 USB-A (working with OTG method) I prepared myself with a DIY USB-A to USB-A cable and followed your guide, and voila, unit was detected in PC right away and flashing through OTG went smooth.

I have question did I need to connect my PC to the device in my car to update firmware? Why MCU can be flash by using usb, but firmware must be updated via PC?

I did exactly how it is done on the video. Everything was the same, from start to finish. Same program, same IMG file etc. My unit is Dasaita PX6 HA with the latest dmcu MTCE_HA_3.78. My problem is that the GPS is now missing. It's nowhere in the drop-down menu to enable/disable it, there's no GPS Test plus icon etc. So what's going on, can you please advice? Its like it has not detected any gps device at all

Hi Alex , maybe you can help me , i think my PX30 older android unit for Mercedes stuck in bootloop ( revers cam still works ) but it wont boot up , i dont know how to go to recovery becouse it has physical buttons aswell. Habe das Auto ausgemacht und Mittag gegessen danach bin ich wieder hin Zündung und Motor an und Zack das Autoradio ist tot geht nicht mehr an ein rst funzt auch nicht..woran kann das auf einmal liegen? Hey Alex, have you ever seen an error on the "Download Firmware" step? And if so, do you know what might be causing it? On the log, I get this information: "DownloadImage-->device did not support directLBA to write gpt" I posted on the XDA forums but I'm not getting any replies. Also, do you still have RKDevTool v2.73? I used v2.74 and wanted to see if maybe the latest version is causing this issue.

I soft bricked my PX6 MAX6 today when I was upgrading from AND9 to AND10 using FactoryTool (recommended by Dasaita) then my Windows crashed. I panicked when the android unit doesn’t show picture but it still getting signal from the USB. Cannot access Recovery Mode either. I pull the plug on the Android Unit for a complete reboot then RKDevTool was able to detect something. I flashed the firmware and it failed at 32%. The Unit seem to reboot into Recovery Mode. This time RKDevTool read "Found One Loader Device" unlike before it says something else. I flashed again and it successfully flashed AND10. Thanks Alex My unit have 3 USB; - 2x USB w/splitter are for data transfer. - 1x USB single extension is the OTG method, there was no "yellow cable" for me.

What about the STM32-20200103-11-KC6-33 mcu version with Android 10 ? Bought 10" PX6 RK3399 DSP car headunit at BOSION OFFICIAL STORE at ali. They have "ANDROID 10" text everywhere at item page... but by fact the device have Android 9. However it works well, besides it hot. Need to install the radiator. And I want Android 10. What to do to update ?

Hello Alex. You are doing a great job and you are very helpful. Just a question. I have a vw golf mk5 and a px5 heaunit. I tried to wire in on bench at home so that i can make upgrades and check some apps because in my garage there is no Internet connection. The problem is that i connected earth, constant +12v and switched +12v and the unit does not power on. I have a thought it needs a canbus signal to open. How are you doing it on bench. I understand the unit you are showing comes from a vw. Many thanks!

I tried this method today, but it didn't work. I have a Dasaita HU HA2106-V840-8, but I don't have the yellow USB port. They are all black. I certainly tried all 3, but RKdevTool didn't recognize any of them. I also tried the MicroSD card method, but after the reboot, a message appears that an attempt was made to mount the card, but the device was not found. Although before the reboot I found the GPS card correctly in the file manager. I don't know what to do next...

I think I soft bricked my device after using the microSD method I think that happened because I used a 16GB SD card instead of 4GB as u said, now my device shows nothing but the buttons led and didn't respond to anything at all, could this method be useful or there is no way except opening my device and flash it and if so could you help me with the instructions Device: PX5, MTCE GS

Hi Alex, I have Dasaita MAX10 and I followed their supports instructions to upgrade their firmware to stop flicker I was having. 1, Fistly , please download the HA3_rk3399_10.0_ota(20200915), unzip the file , only copy the update.zip file into sd card /usb disk , update the firamware . 2, secondly , please copy the DMCU.IMG &DMCU.EXT into sd card /usb disk , update the mcu . The contents of DCMU.EXT is "screen:18". After this I flashed the HTC image using RKDevTool, but now my screen is blank even when in recovery :'( Is there anything I can do to resolve this? I'm worried its bricked :'(

Hi ich habe einen xtrons radio doppeldin px30 android 8.1.0 mit mtce hzc Mein radio spinnt mega Geht automatisch in irgendwelche apps rein. Ich habe einen deckenmonitor drin und kann mein bildschirm nur mit dvd cd teilen, leider kein youtube, sd oder usb video datei. Gibts dafür eine lösung? Ich habe all deine videos angeschaut und verstehe nicht so genau wie ich vorgehen soll.

I think almost none of the pre 2018 models support OTG on any of the USB ports... sadly.... I think only some and few new models do. At least mine doesnt support OTG on any USB port. I am actually annoyed that the chinese didnt think of a native OTG port for people to use in case a flash goes wrong. Its incredible that u can easly brick ur unit and then have to go the extra mile to recover it. Must be on purpose they didnt care to carefully implement OTG

What a hell to flash a device to android 10. Everything is compaitble. I am really shure that i got OTG sometime working but can't get it in recovery now again. The SD card methode do i like more. I got a gps card reader. But not a 4GB micro SD card. The are so difficult to find and eveywhere out of stock... I got flashed a 32GB card but it just boot in to system...
