Gotenks' donut assist might be the most useful in the game.
By connecting the assist at the minimum height, you can force a restand. This occurs whenever the character is hit by an attack during the constriction animation. By hitting the opponent with a low hitstun attack, you can force them to block the second hit of the donut assist.
Another interesting attribute is that if the character is forced into the grounded state at the same time the second hit becomes active, the second hit will be canceled out completely. This can be seen in the final clip with Hit.
Most characters should be able to pull off this reset in some form, but 16 is just really good at setting it up.
