Hi, I have a Samsung phone and looking for the best Android auto display, which one would you recommend for that? I've seen the carpodgo, carpuride, etc. And mostly the problem is that they are stuttery. Great reviews btw ❤

Thanks for the review. Very interesting device. One question. The device does not have GPS. Does it mean that I can not use any navigation programs installed via Playstore on that device? Or is it possible to use an external GPS device? If yes which is supported and works? The GPS devices I was looking for do not habe a driver für Android,
It would require a data connection or Wi-fi to connect to nearby towers for positioning. If you use CP/AA for navigation it will use your mobile's GPS instead. I don't know of a way to 'give' it GPS because the ports are limited for input of such a device.
@@CarPlayLife In general the are two options to use external GPS für Android devices line the 701 Plus: USB connection or bluetooth. For this most android devices Android offers the spoofing of GPS in the developer options of the settings. My main question is: Does ths plus device supports the GPS spoofing options on the devolper settings? If yes, it would be possible to use an external GPS receiver with this device and install navigation apps on the Android of the 701 Plus locally. This would be a real advantage for me. The device could be used as an navigation system without connecting via CP or AA. If this is not possible, the 701 plus does not make sense for me. I would better go with the "701" or "701 pro" instead.
Not if you wish to use it for CarPlay/Android auto. Otherwise it’s a possible option if you can BT it’s audio to your car stereo and you use it for just media playback etc.
Any chance a Head Unit Reloaded could be installed on it to replace the built-in Android Auto as it seems having solutions for night mode switch, Bluetooth car audio and steering wheel controls problems we are suffering with their previous Android Auto units?
