Sorry to bother. This is an old comment but did you figure out transferring games from one device to another? I have to get a phone replaced and dont want to lose progress on 2 games. Not sure how and what to do. I want to transfer 2 games to different phone. Thanks

Try selecting one at a time. The other options is to Copy the files onto a Micro SD and move it to a new phone or see if there is an up that you can upload the files to and then download on the new phone.

Does the so still say it is transferring? If it is complete try rebooting the phone to see if they had. If you still had the phone with the original messages you can try the method I mention in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FNjxUjQx3lY.html

Woah, thanks for the speedy response! It did say the transfer was complete and I have rebooted the phone a couple times now. There are some of my messages scattered through the threads, but not all of them. Would you recommend re-doing the process?

You can try and just have the message backup selected so it does not have to scan through the full phone. Maybe make sure you are using the default message app first and see if you get better results.

I think for the S8 it is all stored under the My Profile and it doesn't add a new contact. You could also just rename the Me contact and use that as the main contact for you.

What is your old phone? If it is Android you can go into Google Chrome and sync your Google Account then you will need to save your Bookmarks again and they will sync in Chrome. Then on the new phone sync your account on Chrome and they should all be there.

Tech With Brett I used Samsung internet on old android phone.

You might be able to sign into a Samsung account and back that up to Samsung Cloud.

From what I can tell you need to connect your app to Facebook and then it will sync once you connect the S9 app to Facebook as well.

What is your old phone and how broken is it? It is possible some things could be backed up on your Google account. Let me know and we will start from there.

It will only transfer your phone number and being able to use the internet.

Not really since you don't have access to the phones menus. If you were signed into you Google account most things should come over. If you have a Samsung account it could have backed up information as well. Make sure you move the Micro SD card over as well.

Do you remember your email address you signed up with? On the new phone you will just need to download the Facebook and and use that to sign in.

What about games? If you transfer a game from old devices to another one, the way people tell you to, does it restore your progress? Is it all there but on another phone? or do you basically just download the app to start over. Smh. I have to get a replacement cause my phone isnt going to be working soon and I dont wamt to lose progress on my games if I chose to continue playing. I want it an the other phone but dont want to start over. Sorry to bother. Just thought I would ask cause I dont know.

@@RieeBellaHoney Oh wow, I wouldn't want to lose my progress on a game either. If Wi-Fi still works on your phone, you should still be able to continue your game progress on your actual device. I don't imagine that it would probably transfer over your progress, but maybe it does since you are logged in. I've never tried transferring a game myself. I'm sorry I can't be of more assistance oh, but I would definitely try continuing your game in Wi-Fi mode.

@@lockergr oh ok thank you. It's ok No need to be sorry. I just thought I would ask. I don't have wifi, one of the few that don't lol I know almost everyone has it. Just have the regular data plan whatever. I might have mobile hotspot, but not sure if that even works..if I do. Sucks if I can't continue the game. I know that if you still have your device and connection to internet the games will work, is that what you're sayin? I thought that might be possible. I do know that if you uninstall the game and re install it's still there cause it's the same device. Unless I misunderstood that also. Idk. I'm not that great with these things. The one I'm using now is my phone..that the store didnt transfer the games to. So I still could kinda play them when I wanted to/able to Haha. But I tried to put them on my phone, didn't work. So maybe when the replacement phone comes I can sign in there and transfer data, games, etc from that old phone to the replacement? Idk. I saw a video or 2 that says you can use Facebook or play games to get your game back where you left off on new devices but I dont think I used them when I got the app/game in the first place. I just played the game. I know you can play one game on different devices but i guess it has to be that way fb or play games. Idk. Dont know how to do that either. A few years ago they helped me transfer a game through email/support from one device to another, but not sure they will still do that. They just needed some info. Idk. Do you know about transferring games from an older phone to another phone? Without losing progress. Dont want to start over. I have to replace my phone cause it's not going to be working soon. go into your google play app and go into the apps. There should be a tab that will show you all the apps you've ever downloaded and then you can get all your apps and games back.
