Hello, and thank you for your great videos. Did you really have success with transfering all data and options of every application you have ? On my side I had to redo a lot of apps options afterwards. The apps were installed, but the options i had setup were not taken into consideration. Thank you for your answer.

You can save in their own cloud with samsung account and download from the cloud, IF Android 1-4, I guess should use the third choice to transfer the data to new phone.

I did this with s9 plus to s23 ultra. Using wifi. All apps except very old 3 old apps did not transfer. Make sure to disable the samsung secure folder. Makes it easier.

So when setting up a new device, is it recommended we do the standard Google account signin/setup and then run Smart Switch afterwards? Would this duplicate data? Can you please advise?

I would run it once. Usually, I setup my phone brand new without any transfer initially and then run smart switch selectively.
