Idoing did a great job.
The user interface has been pretty awesome. It looks less like an android and more like a completed head unit. Of course the skins does bring a lot to the table, and the great thing is you can have several to choose from.

I installed my last year December, now I can't access the icons properly. Not even possible to access the reboot button. To be honest, the touch is fast however this problem I am having I suspect is software issue, but don't how to fix this very annoying problem. Any help?

Kinda ridiculous that we need an additional adaptor when using an android phone to android head unit whereas apply carplay is inbuilt...

Android has substantially more data transfer than apple. Not sure why they dont set it up to make a direct wifi connection. Who knows

if u add idoing headunit, does it remove the door features when playing audio? for example, im currently using the stock headunit 2019 sti, say im playing music and turn the car off, will the music keep playing until i open my door? cause with the stock unit the headunit turns off as soon as i open my driver door

Thank you for this great review. May you help me fix an issue with this head unit. I am using it. The problem is that sometimes, when I start my car (Toyota Rush 2019-2020), this head unit is stuck (touch screen does not work immediately), I have to wait for over 10mn before it works. Would you please explain this issue and how to solve it? Another point : could you please show how to set up the temperature on the screen? Thank you very much in advance for your prompt reply.

How is this unit as far as audio quality? Preamp outputs and voltage? Sub output and crossover? What kind of internal amp and who's it made by?

On the fence about buying this for my 15 WRX Premium, base stereo. How does the install for this compare to a Pioneer unit as far as harnesses and wiring? And would this android unit make sense for an iPhone XS user?

the install is easier than a pioneer because the harness is already setup for your car. It makes sense for apple or android really.

Is this plug and play for the most part? Installed an older Android unit on my 2016 WRX and had to buy a ton of adapters and splice wires to get everything to work, and even then it was buggy.

Thus looks nice! Do they have a 9" or 10" universal unit that would fit in a double DIN slot with an externally mounted screen? Any HDMI output for using the unit in an RV with an external TV?

Read a lot of bad things about seicane and other chineese brands... is this the same unit but with another branding ? I'm on the fence...

How good is the Bluetooth calling? What modifications are needed for the vents since I have a 2016 wrx or do you just get some from the Subaru dealer?

yeah, you can just get the vents at the subaru dealership. Bluetooth calling is better than oem.

cold boot is like 15 seconds but it rarely cold boots. 1s boots

Been watching some of ur reviews/ installs of android units. Few questions for ya..... for a 2010 mits lancer. 1. Sygav or dasaita? Which has better specs 2. If i wanted to play vids/ movies would i have to purchase additional accessories like dvd player? 3. Satellite radio capabilities? For both brands. I have a 2015 WRX with Nav and HK... only thing holding me back is the harness. I want a plug and play option and I'm just not sure about how to get it connected properly. I don't want to splice wires in case I want to take it out or upgrade it.

it should be plug and play. Reverse camera works, steering wheel controls, etc..

i would get the joying unit i posted on my more recent video. You can also change the UI too! The joying has the faster processor!
