I am so grateful that I found out about this artist on Spotify, the first song that I heard from Andy was Put The Gun Down from the Shadow Side and I was amazed by the artist and now Andy is one of my favourite artist and Black Veil Brides is one of my favourite bands. Amazing album
The more I see his interviews the more I connect with him. Especially when he talked about putting the toys from the back towards the front so they can have time there too.

holy moly his description of The Ghost of Ohio is so accurate. There is a river in my town that I spent my best childhood memories at, it's where I caught my pet frog, where I went fishing the first time, and sang Green Day lyrics loudly on a hot October afternoon. And then at that same river I got into a fight with my sister and her friends and remember going on an angry walk through the trails trying to hide from her as my final 'fuck you' to her and how much she'd changed. She'd taken up smoking at the time and she was my idol growing up so it killed me to watch her backpedal into being this trashy, shitty person I no longer wanted to be around.
I love how he flat out says how much Juilette has done for him. That is amazing. I love their relationship so much. I love how he was terrified by Toy Story 😂 Totally side note....I LOVE HOW MANY TIMES HE SAID SHITHEAD 😂😂
I've been following BVB since stitch these wounds, eventually I kinda grew out of that, and not long after Andy and the rest of the band all grew too, they're music evolved as I did and I found myself falling in love with their music over again, Andy Black to me is the frosting on the cake for me in terms of expanding from one genre to something....heavier, or deeper i should say. I appreciate all the music and messages and stories you have shared with us Andy and I'm looking forward to more someday, but like you said, keep focusing on yourself and decide what's best for yourself.
He is definitely one of my heroes. I love the way his mind works. What he said about the toy store was so funny, that's exactly what I would do too! Really enjoying this album. My favorite songs are Soul Like Me and Westwood Road. I'm very happy for him & Juliet, that they both quit smoking and drinking and are now much healthier.
The Ghost of Ohio is such a lovely album. I love how reflective it is, looking back at your younger more vulnerable years. It's clear Andy's matured a lot, and I love how that character growth is reflected in the songs.

Andy's been through so much mentally of being watched and thinking that toys are alive. The more interviews that I see the more I get a kinda fully developed person that he is.
