Andy Cohen Reacts to Kandi Burruss Leaving the Real Housewives of Atlanta 

I think this is the 1st time I have heard Andy speak so highly of a HW's exit.

This made me cry. Kandi never changed who she is. She don’t drink and she didn’t drink for the show no matter the circumstances. She never lied or made up stories for a storyline. She never back stab a friend. She was the epitome of what a true housewife was supposed to be. And she was never scared of no one. I love Kandi.

Love this. This tells me that Kandi left on a good note. This made me very emotional. Much respect to Andy.

THIS is how you exit RHOA!! Kandi exited the show gracefully, without burning bridges. Not to mention, Andy LITERALLY praised Kandi's professionalism, & that speaks volumes.

I love her and she will be missed but I agree with her decision, it was time and maybe now the show can really have a fresh take with a different group of Atlanta ladies. All props to her she was an invaluable part of putting RHOA on the map.

Kandi is the example of how you use the platform. she now out paces the show because she has so much going on. Its really inspiring to watch! It was def time for her to make her exit and she went out on top

I'm sorry but this made me cry😢😢. Very heartwarming thoughts and high praise from Andy to Kandi. I'm from ATL/Decatur and l watched every season because of Kandi. She is Atlanta and we love our own. I will be watching everything she is a part of or produce. Atlanta love her and we will miss her on RHOA but after 14 seasons she is an authentic class act. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Andy explained the situation very well...some people always say ohh Kandi is not entertainment enough, her family is better than her. What made Kandi interesting was her business mindset, everybody played their role. Also, she was always very outspoken, but she became to successful and to big for the show. She made 100% the best decision. The way that Andy speaks about her is incredible, Kandi is Gold, she was more than a housewife and the Producers understood it. She brought more than what we saw.

I just love Kandi so much, but I understand why she made this decision. Thank you Kandi Girl for your contribution to the Housewives franchise.

Living for her legacy, this is just so heartwarming about how Andy is just telling her story so beautifully. This is how you exit a show with no drama, no lawsuits but with love. Well spoken Andy! Kandi's exit is how a savy business person should conduct. It's obvious Andy was speaking from the heart, no written notes, and as a friend, and associate. I am sure both parties been a blessing to each other, and having an open door invitation to return if desired speaks volume. Nene should take note if she haven't already learned by now. Humility is priceless, and is a trait in some humans in our species, but if we all could achieve it, and keep it, we could be alot further in a plethora of things than we are.

I am so glad that Kandi walked away to do her own thing. I unsubscribed from vloggers yesterday who were throwing shade and being nasty saying she was FIRED. smh I refuse to listen to them be ugly to anybody just for clicks and to make a buck. Honestly, I'm only happy if that's what she wants... but for the franchise, this is a BIG loss for me. When Kandi joined, I remember watching her interview on Wendy Williams and Wendy was commenting on the shadiness that some fall into to seem more "entertaining" once they join the reality tv realm and Kandi said something to the effect of "well, I guess I'll just have to show them how to keep it real".... something smoothe like that.... in that moment I respected her fully and she has only given me more reasons to respect her. Outside of coming into the show as a decorated and celebrated singer and songwriter (as well as all the other stuff she was doing at the time) she ALSO came onto the show and showed us how moguls mogul. She started so many businesses, one from lemons (the sxx dungeon), one to put her her family on (OLG).... I could really wax poetic because I realise how much I admire this woman. She is the ONLY person on TV that really has shown how to secure, collect and grow the bag. Literally unmatched in showing all the aspects of her life. Even when they tried the scandal route with her, she prevailed. Honestly a woman after my own heart.... an absolute role model. Even in getting married, she made great decisions. She was clear about her position on things and has built a partnership. I'm not saying its perfect, i just admire her position therein. Kandi truly has no time for the bs too, being so busy and building means they can squabble without her. I do think the network took too long to announce what was going to happen with the franchise and a woman like Kandi is NOT going to wait for anybody to tell her about her money. She had too much time to think about something else and her elevation is probably more about being with the really big big boys in business now. Andy briefly mentioned about partnership with the network, that seems very much like a plausible option and probably quite likely if he's saying it "in public". She's such a force. I literally want to be her when I grow up (the singing part is out though, she wins there) lol

Love kandi!! She is my favorite hw. I know people would say she is boring but kandi brought alot to the show. she never came alone... she had her family friends children all be a part of the show. Just out of all them I think kandi lived the most authentic. In 14 yrs we got to see major mile stones of this women life. It's crazy when you think about it.

You can tell that she left on a good note. She definitely used to platform and elevated which is great. However, her time on the show was really done. There was nothing more for Kandi or for the viewers to see if Kandi. I have to agree on Marlo on this one. Kandi towards the end was just boring. But love Kandi and sooooo excited to see what she does next.
