You said on Jools' show 'People might be wondering what happened to Andy Fairweather Low, well this is what happened.' Then pointed to yourself. Andy mate, this song has been lurking somewhere in the recesses of my brain since you first made the record all those years ago, well that's where you've been mate, in our hearts..... thanks .
My dad is turning 70 in a couple of weeks. I asked what songs he would like played at his 'get together'. I was expecting the Beatles, Stones and Bowie. But this was the first he requested! And I am so glad

This was the best Hootenanny for many many years, watching Andy singing this classic song, bringing back so many memories, the line up for the show was brilliant, Thank You Jools !!
Andy makes me proud to be a fellow Welshman. Saw him a couple of times at Glastonbury and wanted to watch for so much longer. He seemed surprised at the great audience reaction then and here, but people love authenticity and real talent. That's why Eric Clapton, George Harrison and others wanted to work with him.
I am not Welsh but boy do I like Andy. Just a few years younger I lived through his music and he is still playing, and singing, brilliantly. Loved him in the sixties and love him still. Keep going Andy.
And this isn't one of them. Sounds like an old man with no diction or mic control. Just a wobbly sound that is all vowels, constantly shifting around in the mix.
I was lucky enough to see Andy perform at Cornbury Festival 2022 He was absolutely brilliant Loved every minute of his performance This is my favourite song So beautiful ❤️
This song lived somewhere in my memory and listening to it live brought me back with such joy and emotion. Andy, you sir are a king. I love this song so much & it’s been on replay in my house since NYE. I have my 18 month old singing lalala ❤
Richie "Andy fairweather low as just been on BBC radio 2" Johnny Walker show" he was featured guest"" Andy fairweather low " what a lovely modest man he is, a real Star "you can catch it on BBC sounds, give it a listen," also"Andy fairweather low as a new album out,
Anyone else noticed songs from this generation (the best) are about true values, feelings and respect for someone rather than boastful lyrics of today. I have cash, cars, women and so on and so on. It’s a frightening shift.
Andy Fairweather Low thank you for helping me with my struggles playing with Eric through the struggles of my life so many years. You were in his band a great presence you and Steve and Nathan singing three prolific songs Holy Mother, My Father's eyes ,River of Tears and I love Spider Jive since I heard you play it with Eric Doyle and Nathan Crossroads Festival. ❤ Long may you run Andy Fairweather Low ❤
Listen to this throughout the year. What a performance. Always joyous when people sing together like that. Just shows you what we can do when we're all united.
Where were the Sleaford Mods to kick some life into the show Jules is amazing but all dressed up in black what a fitting end to 2022 It was a funeral for our country
He's been in Eric's band (recording and live) for the majority of the last 30 years, when Doyle wasn't covering live duties. Has his own band too. Andy is a great bloke.
We went to Glasgow to see Eric Clapton about 10 years ago. Andy Fairweather Low was the opening act any believe it or not was much better performance than Clapton.
