Andy Gibb, the unofficial 'fourth Bee Gee' Rest in peace, dude.

In '83 music was changing at a rapid pace departing from the 70s disco Era. Here he was trying to make it something a little new again. I love the energy he has in this performance. I hope we all try to remember him like this. Such a great talent.

2021. Still here for Andy. He would have been 63 this year.

This is how I choose to remember sweet dear Andy.

This band slaps. The rhythm is so tight, the bass player, guitarist, drummer, and Rhodes player are all locked in and grooving so hard. Back up singers are pitch perfect and Andy knows his range incredibly well as he confidentially goes up and down the key. super underrated singer.

I still love Andy so much. All that talent and good looks and his music off course. I so wish he was still alive

Gosh, Andy was 30 when he died and has been gone 33 years now. Rest sweet brothers Andy, Maurice and Robin.

That's raw talent, a great performance and performer, he sadly died far too young, but his music will live forever

Such a sad story and so much heart break for his family to loose him at such a young age. He is back with Robin and Moo in Heaven.

Andy Gibb had it all, yet, when you watch him sing, you can see the pain in his eyes is obvious. Loving someone so deeply should be the best blessing anyone can have, yet, when the person you love is no longer in your life and have moved on, the person left behind generally will never be able to do the same. Eventhough they had a 15 month relationship, it is so obvious Andy loved Victoria Principal much deeper than most of us will ever experience or understand, and that connection is something he knew he would never experience with anyone else. Just watching these videos, including the duets he sang with the likes of Olivia Newton-John and Marie Osmond you can see the look in his eyes. The pain is so evident, and you can tell he is longing for what he knew he could never have. If anyone pays attention to the lyrics of this song, his own words tell you how he truly feels - it is just sad that Victoria felt she couldn't be the one to save Andy, and I have often wondered if she had stayed, whether he may still be alive today. Hope the angels are singing with you Andy. xoxo

He was in the spotlight for only 10, 11 years but seemed to have several incarnations - pop singer, Solid Gold host, Vegas performer and Broadway performer. Super talented with a great presence and family industry connections to boot, but let all these opportunities, including a daughter and marriage, slip through his fingers, because of addiction . A very sad cautionary tale.
