I love at the beginning of the song when he goofed a slide and shakes is head like "oh that wasn't right" and then slams the rest of the track. Andy is just a regular guy who's really fucking good on guitar, that's why I love him Also Ive been learning this song and it's a lot harder than it looks, a lot of feel in there
Same - learning it currently, should have a playthriugh up in a week or so Amazing song, gives me chills, and learning it I have attached it to a very important thing that I am going through and someone who means the world to me - my Son I got emotional the first time I nailed most of it through - was such a weird feeling He is 8 and I haven’t seen him for a year, or spoke, nothing But he was around to see my parents a few weeks ago and my Mum was showing him pics of me with my guitars and he suddenly a week later wanted to play guitar ❤ So I got him a great learner one, Fender nylon 3/4 Will be seeing him soon, want to have this dialed in so I can play it for him, and he can see that Dad can play guitar - despite what his mother tells him lol It’s such an emotional song, so much feel, I love the chorus- it’s beautiful ❤ Hope you’re still playing my friend
@@thefourthwritedjentleman3643 Hey brother, i came across your comment. I hope that you were able to see your son and spent quality time with him. Best of luck for both of you
Just a beast!! At least I feel a tad bit better, he made 2 mistakes....at the beginning then in the middle right before the tap section. He's by far my favorite modern player. I strive to play half as good as Andy. At least now I know even Gods can make a minor booboo ever great once in a while....
Presumably Andy James was playing at the Boss booth at NAMM to promote some Boss gear. I wonder what gear that was? It’s not really my tone, but way more people will see this video on RU-vid than could have been there in person. Maybe Boss recorded also and will post with background about products used? Mic to hear a “shredder” who focuses on alternate picking rather than sweeps.
