Damn, Lebron James was so freaking mature for his age. The way he handled all the cameras in his face & all the scrutiny with such class at the age of 18 still amazes me. Yall know what's crazy, Lebron was ranked #2 in the country in high school. There was this other guy named Lenny Cooke who was actually better than him at the time, stronger. Lebron was a skinny kid, Lenny Cooke already looked like a college or professional athlete. If Lenny Cooke had worked as hard as Lebron and WANTED IT as much as Lebron wanted it, then Lenny Cooke would've been on all those magazine covers straight out of high school. ESPN, Sports Illustrated, all that. But he was a bum, God gave Lenny Cooke all that talent and he got caught up in his own hype and partied too hard and wanted the females all the time. P*ssy literally destroyed Lenny Cooke's career b/c he was always chasing it even with a child & girlfriend at home. As ridiculous as that sounds, it's true. If Lenny would've worked hard, Nike would've given Lenny the $90 Million/7 year contract fresh out of high school and he would've been drafted #1 & Lebron would've been drafted #2. That's crazy right, yall. Just goes to show how important work ethic & asking yourself the question "How bad do you want it?"
Lebron destroyed Lenny Cooke when they played, thats what killed him. He was considered better until they played and Lebron made the game winner in his face
It's Amazing how both of them became Bums, except Lebum plays 4 The Nba and has been a cheater his whole life, especially when trying to Win Championship .
U mean Kyrie did. I have never seen a superstar player ever hand it off to another star player to win the championship faster than a hooker in sketchers, especially in an elimination game for all the marbles.Mind boggling!
@@KJRawX what a loser he played his heart out and averaged 36/13/10 over last 3 games and He scored 7 of the last 10 points and had the most clutch play in nba history with the block after that Golden state never scored again
lol... he was winning and getting paid and a hometown hero... but he had bigger plans to be one of the greatest ever and he knew it was impossible in pathetic Cleveland witht that weak roster he carried to 60 wins multiple years..
Lebron at age 18 is what every lebron hater or anyone in general wishes they could be / act like 🤣😂 The real Goat 🐐 Lebron on and off the court 😎🔥💪🐐👑🗣⚔️🔥
Who doesn't believe the NBA made sure this happened. The NBA was not letting him go to Denver or Toronto... maybe if New York was in the mix they would have been okay with that. But, actually, we'll find out if/when the worst team in the NBA doesn't get the No.1 pick this year so the NBA can make sure Ben Simmons doesn't get put onto a shitty team with a shaky ownership/coaching staff. My bet for No.1 picks this year are Boston (with Brooklyns pick), Minnesota so we can have the youngest "big 3" ever, and my dark horse is Milwaukee, so we can have an entire 6'11" starting lineup. The starting backcourt would be Ben Simmons and Giannis, and if they went small it'd be Michael Carter Williams. And if Minnesota gets it, the team has to come up with some fail-safe way that we don't get a trade James Harden repeat scenario.
He never wanted to go to Cleveland. You could tell. Carmelo seemed like he didn't care who won the lottery or the draft order as long as he was a top 3 pick. LeBron on the other hand seemed a little disappointed with going to Cleveland. He was probably hoping that the Denver won the lottery.
man they had no idea wat type of impact that draft class would have on the future of the NBA back then. damn but in 2010, hes goin to south beach! HAHA cleveland suck it!
