I bought an x20 last year, it's been really good so far. Very comfortable at 13m. Make sure you have 2 good quality rollers!

My local pond? It's been there for ever and a day, in recent years it has been stocked and opened as a day ticket water, there are no typical shelves, in a nut shell, give or take the odd 6" you're in 5 foot, there are two islands, but these are floating, the idea is protection from cormorants, so still 5ft, summer time it makes no odds where you fish you will have a good day, this time of year when temps in the northeast are up and down it can be hard, I was thinking of spending a day simply plumbing it, to try and find a bottom feature, would you agree or would I be wrong in doing that, what would you suggest?

It does, the maggot line is always a safe bet for early afternoon on the canals. I personally found 4mm meat to be better than expanders for both the canals and margins later on, on the lakes at Hillview.

Andy prefers a larger shot, BB/SSG. Anything above a number 8 would be perfect

@@UKprestoninnovations I know there is , my point slightly being missed , I’d be keen to see some of the tutorials fished on a busy pool rather than having the joy of a whole lake to fish . Let’s face it , anyone , even is mere mortals do better with no lake pressure and the choice of flyers or corner pegs ,. Fully understanding of the need to present and paint a better picture for the camera , just my opinion . Ta

@@Jazzy-xr1sz Sometimes it can be easy if you are on your own with feeding fish in front. no always so if you need to pull them from another area. I always prefer a pool with a good few on or a match situation, this give less space for fish to back off to. my opinion works for me.
