Its funny what they will and wont allow, i make a stupid ignorant comment, all good shows right up, when i think im being insightful, no go, insta deleted.
@@matts9116 Honestly. How many of mine just disappear, (or better yet) I get a notification to someone responding to my comment which has since been deleted!

Sometimes RU-vid comments are sorted by "top" instead of "newest". So if your comment disappears, try refreshing and then checking that comments are shown by "newest".
Actually, it isn't. Only the USA has enshrined free speech as an inalienable right. Everywhere else, free speech is subject to the feelings of the government. Sadly, the USA is becoming more like European nations when it comes to free speech. It turns out that the government has been censoring political speech and dissenting voices since World War II. It's just out in the open, now. All nations use a "national interest" argument for their censorship. It's an empty argument. The censors are never the good guys.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee's HUSBAND is a DIRECTOR of ABBVIE PHARMACUTICAL CO which supplies PUBERTY BLOCKERS for TRANS. 😳 She has NEVER been transparent about this CONFLICT of interest. Is it financially benifical to her and her family therefore to promote 🤔 & make laws around GENDER IDEOLOGY? This needs to be OPEN to DISCUSSION.
HOW COOL WILL IT BE.... If somewhere down this warped road, we will be able to look back and see IRELAND as the HEART, and as the TURNING POINT of where Western Society made The Great TURNAROUND.
As an Irish person I fully agree, I've thought the same thing since I was less than 10 years old. Been trying to convince people ever since but the brainwashing is strong in them.
@@Cardulionax There's no reaching these people. You have the radicals and then the ones that just blindly accept this nonsense with a "Oh, so this is what I'm meant to follow now? Okay then" shrug. It's frustrating.
Thank you for attending this, Andy. I've visited Ireland three times. The last time, in 2019, really disheartened me. I could see how things were going.
@@californiacountry209 The outcome of that was very odd, so is the wiki article that says it was started by the Christian Latin church instead of naming the Vatican. Now you've got me thinking too much..... 😉
I think Ireland is a little less afraid to speak up because it's so small and they have nowhere to go. We here in America are spoiled by having 50 very different "countries" we can choose from at any time to move to, and through that, we can pretend (erroneously) that wokeness seems like less of a threat.
@@kwc1138 And worse we see. All the rich woke persons can leave at will, and use their money/influence to sway the 'backwater' governments of these conservative locales. (edit) While also enjoying the safety and stability granted by living in these conservative areas. Woke is a virus.
WELL DONE, ANDY...... Thank you, Andy and Good Luck, as you continue the Fight in the trenches and not budging one inch in the face of these sick, cultlike foes who threaten our existence.
Oregon is a liberal state of the US, not it's own sovereign nation. Each have different options because of this basic fact. Ireland has problems not a single American would understand, like most of the problems in Europe - a MUCH OLDER and established locale of human activity with a history one can't just wave a wand and it disappears.
Free speech has to be protected; libel has to be suppressed; and those who libel must compensate their victims. These things must be balanced in Irish law; no one of them can be privileged over another.
One thing I've learned is one countries right is another countries left. I don't live there, and have no historical knowledge that can only be gained as a lifelong citizen. Something the media blows past in it's effort to sway thought.
Best thing I’ve witnessed in a while. Challenging Wokenomics and how the Left has fully adopted their ideals. I have a nail with a name on it. Nailed to that coffin
Calvin is 100 percent correct in his argument. The great Francis Schaeffer states, "Our beliefs determine our culture." nothing humanistic provides a strong enough base for society, just look at history as your guide post.
I have a feeling that the US Constitution and founding fathers were stronger on the right to free speech than the Irish Constitution. Otherwise how did the ridiculous Hate Speech Bill get as far in the legislative system as it did in Ireland? If the Irish Constitution was sufficiently strong on the right to free speech there would be no point in transgender proponents pushing it as the Constitution would trump the attempts to restrict free speech. In the US it seems to be mainly the high levels of transgender violence and the threat of it that has exerted pressure on people to be silent. In Ireland and the UK (with no real UK Constitution / the supremacy of Paliament in legislation) pressure is being exerted through legilslation / proposed legislation.
Just to recall Pauline O’Reilly of the Green Party in her speech in the Irish Senate / Seanad in June 2023 on the Hate Speech Bill said “If your views on other people’s identities go to make their lives unsafe, insecure and cause them such deep discomfort that they cannot live in peace then I believe that it is our job, as legislators, to restrict those freedoms, for the common good,” If the Irish Constitution was sufficiently strong on the right to free speech - woke authoritarians such as Pauline O'Reilly and Helen McEntee would not be proposing to restrict it through legislation.
The USA is a federation, Ireland isn't. What's scary is if we elected people by stv the left would be far less powerful but conservatives here are too cucked and dumb to push for it
Great to see you visiting here, Andy! Both sides in Ireland are idiots at the moment honestly but no one wants what's happening in the US to start here . As a gay man I also don't want to be lumped in with the crazy wokes.

The Irish language…its glorious culture and heritage are the birthplace of civilization…which is why it has been so viscerally targeted for millennia …the ANCIENT Gaels … Irish/British/Cornish/Manx/Welsh were genetically identical … whose islands hold the elemental truths of the most ancient, most gloriously dynamic culture that also constitutes it to be the true birthplace of all human civilisation …. “Far westward lies an isle of ancient fame, By nature blessed, and Scotia is her name: An island rich - exhaustless is her store Of veiny silver and golden ore: Her verdant fields with milk and honey flow, Her woolly fleeces vie with virgin snow, Her waving furrows float with verdant corn, And Arms and Arts her envied sons adorn” ‘The elements of human civilization reveal that its origins show a pattern of WEST to East migration… This theory rests upon the understanding that there were, in prehistoric times, highly developed civilizations situated in the Western hemisphere. These civilizations were brought to an abrupt end approximately 13,000 years BC, by terrestrial upheavals of an unimaginable scale. The gnosis that had been accumulated by the advanced inhabitants of these hoary civilizations originated on the landmasses known today as Ireland, England, Scotland, and Wales. These island nations were once part of ATLANTIS or, more specifically, of the great continent of APPALACHIA. From these locations the gnosis was eventually carried Eastward across lost land bridges into Europe and Asia.’ “The Irish Origins of Civilization, Volume One: The Servants of Truth: Druidic Traditions & Influence Explored” by Michael Tsarion… Tsarion is on yt,but he states that most of his research was influenced and inspired by the books of Conor MacDari (pen name of John Geran) there is a reason why all his books of the true historical Ireland have been suppressed, specifically one that is called : “IRISH WISDOM PRESERVED IN BIBLE AND PYRAMIDS From Hyksos” however he has other books that exposed how the bible was corrupted and co-opted by antichrist zioJews , Rome and English heretics in order to destroy the true Christianity that the monks of ancient Ireland in the first century had preserved and spread throughout the world, but has been systematically destroyed…. While I give Andy all the credit he deserves, I see him surrounded by his most ardent supporters, most of whom are Christian. The elephant in the room, of course, is Andy's proclaimed [s3xval preference], which unfortunately defies one of the basic tenets of Christianity, which is that God created man and woman for each other, and that any deviation from that is abominable. I wish Andy all the best, and I hope one day he will decide to follow Truth in EVERY area of his life, not just the easier ones.
I'm a fan of Andy Ngo, and I am an old, straight, white married guy. I think there are millions of good Christians who are gay or lesbian. I think there is nothing wrong with adult gays and lesbians having committed, long-term romantic and sexual relationships with each other. It is their right to liberty. I think that church communities are wise if they welcome such loving couples within their memberships.
@@freesk8 I'm not religious so seeing 'Rules for thee but not for me' helps to enforce my choice to abstain from ancient bedtime stories meant to help children sleep as the knowledge that death comes for us all can't be swept under a rug.

Sorry to disappoint Fr. Cal, as i was saying my Rosary 150 with my rolls royce crystal beads set down in cork in a undisclosed location. So big and heavy, it could chain bikers on the road✨
Pushing christianity is encroaching on peoples freedoms. I'm talking about the priest/reverend who was talking. My freedom is not to have any religion pushed on me just as no one has the right to push their gender on me and accept they are male when they are genetically female. Secularism should be in place in every democratic country but allows all religions, but the people have the freedom of not having those religions or any one religion pushed on us to convert to.
This is just a panel at a college. If this was a senate hearing or something it would be different. Pretty sure that the Irish government did an Islamic call to prayer during a government event recently which would absolutely be off limits. State and religion need to be separated although if a country is founded on Christianity or Islam then I can see there being some BASIC aspects of it still being a thing.
@@tula1433 It does get messy doesn't it? I have solutions, but that would go against many childish beliefs held by so many adults so I just sit on the side eating popcorn, watching the show.
@@munch762 I think the problem with this is, people in one tribe will always regard their tribe as the smart + morally superior ones, and people in the enemy tribe as dumb + immoral ones. We are evolved to be this way, we are evolved the want to signal our credentials to our tribe. To allow us to feel like we belong to something. I despair a bit that any sizeable group of people is even conscious of this or willing to stop playing this tribal game.
The root cause of these problems never gets addressed by anyone. It's always just talking about things but never why they happen or who. Well, I suppose if he did he wouldn't gave a RU-vid account for much longer.
