As much as I love and credit Reid's masterful playcalling, the Eagles DC did very little if anything to seize the initiative and put Reid on his backfoot. He played Reid straight up. As stated, he overestimated his DLs ability to handle the KC OL straight up. Reid's playcalling put them on their heels but the OL handled the Eagles up front. Reid, like a Maestro, made their jobs even easier.
