@@airbender9593 The ball doesn't have be to be touching the line when it's rising. It only has to touch the line when it initially hits. The ball will sometimes skid on a grass court. The serve touched the outside of the line when it hit, skidded a little then bounced back up.

Problem with grass is that the ball will hit the grass before the full weight of it has hit the ground, so the area it hits is bigger than it looks to the naked eye.

Grass can be particularly confusing, because the ball touches the line and thereafter sinks further into the grass beyond the line.Very natural for a human brain to then picture the latter as the place where the ball bounced.

It may seem like it touch the outside of the line. But the hawkeye was showing it right on the line which i think is wrong. Technology isn't perfect by any means.

If you watch the slow-mo at a slower speed you can see the ball touched the line. The serve was good.

By that time the Hawkeye tech was just starting, with lots of errors, this seems to be one (couse even if it was in, by the video shown, the ball should have touched just the tip of the line and the hawk showed like full in 4cm more than the real one)

There's no arguing with Hawkeye. You notice in the tournaments with no linespeople now, there's no debate, no challenges and no overrules. Even if the computer is wrong, it's right.

He likes too joke around a lot and is generally respectful to his opponents. He is a pleasant person on the court. I don't know whether it hampers his concentration, you'd have to ask him that yourself 😅 My point is just that I can't quite agree on the poor gamesmanship part. I always thought he was a great example of a classy american guy. The stereotype of american people is quite different to his character for sure 😂

@@emily-clark I miss Andre agassi loved how he ran around the court hitting back nearly every ball .I used to love watching grojean I think thats his name the French player,I liked Andy roddick as well .Yeah you can ask nothing wrong in that lol for my username well two reasons why was 1) I was trying to think of a nickname username on twitch first thought of Soul but later on my mum was hit bad by cancer around her shoulder to her breast area then she had surgery she recovered then got hit by ulcers next following year so at that time I just felt Lost cause our family or anyone wasn't here for my mum and myself even my handicap brother .so I just put them together as lost soul

Okay, so it's in. I just have a problem with the rules in general. I think to truly be in, the ball should hit inside the box without touching any lines. It's that way in every other sport, touch the line and you're out. Plus, the ball isn't even parallel to the actual line that makes the inner box, it's just touching a line connected to it. I disagree with the entire concept.

It is not like that in every other sport. In baseball the line is in, soccer the line is in, hockey the blue line is in, golf it isn’t OB until over the line…you must only watch football and basketball.

U know perfection doesn't xists in fact in this case d ball doesn't even touch d tip of d line but due 2 sensor failure HE shows a wrong mark. Anyways been loving Andy also 4 his fair play so if he saw that ball out I prefer trust him rather than a machine.

@@dannywhite9975 Hawkeye isn't 100% correct all the time, but in this case the SLOW MOTION REPLAY proved that it was. Trusting another human being's eyes over actual video evidence is ignorant regardless of who the human is. Do you know who else has been proven over and over again to see line calls incorrectly? That's right, Roger Federer. Hawkeye might not be perfect, but it's much closer to perfect than the human eye.
