Andy Serkis Analyses Caesar's Journey 

This is one of the few trilogies that actually had solid acting, writing, story, character development, just everything about it is what makes it so good. What's great about it too is that each installment got better than the last. Unlike most trilogies which gets worse with each installment. Otherwise, the Apes trilogy lived up to its potential imo.

I'm not afraid to admit that I cried over a CGI ape at the end of that movie. T_T They did the originals a great honor.

This trilogy was one of the best trilogies I have ever seen in my life. Seriously....they told a great story about one character that went through trials and tribulations. You followed the character, you cried with him, you understood where he came from. This series was GREAT!

Andy serkis needs more recognition he’s an amazing actor

Caesar's death scene, as tragic and sad as it is, is so poetic. It's beautiful, really, because he is at peace knowing that his fellow apes (including his son) will not only survive, but thrive. He's done his job, and now it's time to rest.

I just wanted to say I find it interesting how fast Caesar’s speech evolves: Planet: Could only say a couple of words Dawn: Could say full sentences but a bit choppy War: Could say everything perfectly

Caeser: *closes eyes* Will:"Caeser c'mon time to come home." I wonder if thats what he saw as the gates to heaven opened for him.

Caesar became one of my favorite characters in fiction, thanks Andy Serkis and the effects team for such a rich character.

The only movie that made me cry in my 24 years of life time. I was sad when Caesar died, but those tears were for Maurice, Rocket and all the other apes, tears of hope, yet somehow a nostalgic feeling about how it began. Like damn, the brotherhood Maurice, Rocket and Caesar had is one of the purest in cinema history, and the fact that they are from different species makes it even better, something we as a society should strive for.

They need to make a movie about Cornelius(Caesar’s youngest son) journey to be king

Andy Serkis is a national treasure. Give this man an oscar. Not only is he a brilliant actor, but just a fascinating person to listen to. Just hearing him talk about and analyze this phenomenal trilogy is just amazing.

I just wished that at the end he could have had a thought about his adoptive father Franco before he passed away. I wanted to see him happy. He hasn't smiled since he left home. 😢😢😢

That scene at the cage where Will leaves Caesar and he looks on in shock at the abandonment of the only person that makes him feel secure and warm...it is so heartbreaking that it prevents me from rewatching this trilogy at all. It is too painful.

I noticed the 'Caesar as Moses' connection in the first movie Rise....when he kills the cruel slave master with his own rod, and then leads the Exodus to the Redwoods - which seemed to be the Promised Land at the time

I am old and I have seen THOUSANDS upon THOUSANDS of movies..,, BUT NEVER have any movies invoked such emotions in me as these 3 did...., I HATE what we humans do to animals to this day and always will, these movies brought out in me these intense feelings and my empathy for all animals that are used for science. I HATE IT!!!! I TRULY hope before I die that I will see yet the #4 of this series. The CGI they used to express the emotions in these characters blew me away, literally!..., ANDY SERKIS DESERVES NUMEROUS OSCARS for playing this INCREDIBLE CAESAR! INCREDIBLLY FANTASTIC movies!!!..., Oh and what can I say about MAURICE and ROCKET?!…, SUPERB!!!

These movies deserves all the Oscars

I watched War two days ago and I was captivated in every scene. The direction and shots were fantastic like no other movie.

I remember in theaters, seeings Caeser pass on and I legit shed a tear and thought to myself "this is gonna tear me up for a while" and to this very day, that scene claws at me

I have to admit that I never used to give Andy Serkis the credit that he so richly deserved. I blubbed at the end of the third chapter. I admit it.

Possibly one of the greatest trilogies of all time

What i notice is that Ceaser had the same scar as Koba. Had he not went back to the colonel for revenge he would've never been shot in his side. Kobas revenge cost him his own life just like Ceaser. But at the same token, had Ceaser never went back, the apes would've died from gettin shot up.

Words can not describe how much respect i have for everybody who worked on this trilogy. Terry who teaches everyone how to be ape. And lets not forget how he played Rocket. And Karin what an amazing job she did to bring Maurice to life. And Andy of course for bring Caeser to life! From all the people who brought all the cgi apes to life! And many many more people who worked on this trilogy. Man! I love this trilogy and everytime i watch it i have to watch all the extra’s. I think the end is amazing! But now i have some questions who took over to be leader? Maurice? Rocket? Who? lol

I understand the reasoning as to why koba had to die, but given the brutal history of torture and experimentation he went through just to free fall hundreds of feet as his body smashes into all types of obstacles on the way down was a little disheartening for me to watch. I wish ceaser would have just pulled him up, said what he said and then just snapped koba's neck. An honorable kill to end the poor primate suffering. Other than that a great trilogy.

In the last scene, if you look to at the bottom left by Caeser's body you can see Rocket come walking up to him, damn thats sad.

I love planet of the apes this is my favorite version by far and the best version I couldn't stop crying at the final scene in the last movie they did an incredible job with this trilogy and with amazing actors :)

The ending of WFTPOTA reminded me of Guru passing in Namek/Frieza Saga in Dragon Ball Z.
