Thanks, as always. Andy was a genius but must have been exhausting beyond belief...the jump from his refusing to answer Ingrid's call (even though she was likely in trouble) then being upset no one told him she had disappeared kind of says it all. I hope Ingrid is at peace, wherever she now is.
Brilliant. I was around the Factory in '66 and '67, and met Ingrid. She indeed an "ugly beauty" with a protruding chin and a compelling, warm personality. This video gets it right - Malanga and Wein were setting her up to be the next Edie.

Warhol was such a hypocrite. He never cared for Eedie , Ingrid or Candie Darling. He used all of them to the last drop and disposed of them Like a kleenex.

Edie could have foiled their plans by befriending Ingrid. When you are truly a supporter of other women, and secure in yourself, you can't be manipulated into petty cat fights for others entertainment.
@@elizabethjpaxton As beautiful as she was, Edie was a lost soul after her bros death, plus her heavy drug use would have left her incapable of forming a meaningful relationship with anyone. Truly sad lifestyle.
While I adore Andy Warhol’s artwork and he’s one of my favorite artists, if he really cared about Ingrid than he would’ve picked up the phone when she called. His friends didn’t seem to be that nice to her either😢
According to Taylor Mead, some of Ingrid’s possessions were found at the home of a serial killer and the inplication was she was killed by him and her remains were never found.

BTW, great images of Gerard and Chuck. Both icons of the moment. Gerard street, Chuck Harvard. Warhol was a genius of the greatest possible magnitude and profoundly charismatic.
Ingrid would need more than a makeover to make her look like Edie.. She would need a full major construction.. They would have to get the builders in to for a total restoration lol
Andy went from one extreme to the other lol Edie was hot... Gorgeous and sexy whilst Ingred was..... Totally the opposite from all of those in fact when I first saw her I was expecting her to bark
